I like Seventh Generation for laundry detergent (one of the only phospate-free laundry detergents for HE machines) and they work great so I had high hopes for this. I should mention that we have no dishwasher so I handwash all my dishes, perhaps that's why I'm so picky. If you are spending more money for an eco-friendly dish soap it should at least work well. This did not work well at all and you have to use a lot to get any cleaning power. NOT the best bank for your eco-friendly buck; I recommend the PLANET brand dish soap instead. I have had no problem with allergic reactions that I've had with other dish washing liquids. Last a long time, and has a pleasant, but not overpowering fragrance. Great for Fine China that should be washed by hands, cleaning power lasts longer than the name brand products, plus you also use less and that allows longer use out of one bottle.
