Totally useless

I bought these bags as an upgrade to the non-biodegradable ones - they are totally useless. They are so hard to open and impossible to tie. Try Doggie Do bags - they are infiniitely better and also biodegradable but with a scent. When you type in "dog bag" to the drugstore.com search engine, Doggie Do bags don't show up which is a shame as they are streets ahead of this product.

These bags are great and easy to use. Some bags are hard to open up. These open super easy. I would get the larger one's if you have a big dog. Or you will end up using 2 bags.

love these bags - and i feel better using these since they are 100% bio-degradable (unlike the others that say they have a breakdown with cornstarch). they hold up well to the "#2's" of a big dog (we have a 70 pound lab/greyhound mix) and are easy to fit a few in your pocket for the daily walks! i also use them for cleaning up the backyard, too! we are repeat buyers!

After years of feeling guilty about using plastic grocery bags (which I would otherwise be recycling), I found these and I love them. It's a small way to be environmentally friendly but every little bit counts, right?

I love them! They scrunch down really well so I can put them in a small pocket of my fanny pack and have them available for use no matter how many times they go. The holes in the top make them easy to have available and they can be hung from the same hook the leashes are on. They are long enough to tie shut so the smell is not so overwhelming. Lastly, I really like the fact that they are biodegradable.

The idea of biodegradable bags for poop containment is nice, but anything buried in an anaerobic landfill will take eons to break down, even if biodegradable. Yes these are better than regular plastic, but most people mistakenly assume they dissolve immediately after disposal. If you consider the resource use and pollution created in manufacturing biobags, on balance it might be better to just re-use the plastic bags you got from the grocery store. If you're really conscientious and always use cloth bags when shopping, then biobags are the way to go for dog poop.

This product works for me. It's durable, I've never had an issue with the bag splitting or tearing. That would be very bad. The bag size is fine for a mid size dog. The fact that they are biodegradable makes me feel good about being environmentally aware.
