I am careful not to put wet things in the kitchen wastebasket, i.e. coffee grounds because the bag is biodegradable. I find I use my garbage disp. more and the kitchen bag lasts much longer before needing to replace than the plastic grocery bags did.

I love this product because it isn't made of petroleum and it is 100% biodegradable. I've found for trash they work great. If you have a lot of wet trash, you will probably have to take the trash out more frequently because they will begin to break down (the down side to the biodegradable aspect) with wet trash sitting in them for a long period of time. Not as strong as I would like, but they work very well for normal day to day trash requirements. I gave two boxes to my mom and she loves them too!

I wish there were more bags than 12 in a single box and a 7-10 gallon size for our smaller under the counter trash cans was available,. We are required to recycle in San Francisco and limit/eliminate the use of non-biodegradable plastic bags for our garbage and waste products. These bags meet the test for going green and being eco friendly with the use of biodegradable products.

It just makes sense to use biodegradable, especially when you use this product for the benefits of the environment. Why would you put you animal waste (completely bio-degadeable) in something like the tradition plastic bag that will never. The bags may look thin, but they hold up very well. We are extremely pleased!

I tried the tall kitchen bags as an environmentally friendly alternative to plastic grocery bags as home garbage bags. They have become excellent bags for cleaning our fenced yard of dog waste once a week (our 15 pound and 55 pound puppies make quite a mess). I also use them for shredded paper recycling. They store well (compact box of 12) and it's easy to tear individual bags from the roll so now I buy in bulk to cut down on the overall expense. My biggest problem is getting my parents to quit the habit of the occasional plastic grocery bag coming home from the store.

I love the bags, the only draw back is that they will start to degrade if you but anything damp and don't take the trash right out. They tear when something heavy or sharp is put in them - just like other bags :-). I definitely recommend them.

These bags seem to hold up well under pressure. We've been getting a bit of rain here in Iowa lately, but these bags didn't fail me. I took a full bag out to the curb without any container protecting it and it still made it in one piece without any tears or spills.

These bags are several inches shorter than standard "tall kitchen bags", so if you have a tall trash can, the bags will tend to slide down inside the can (an extra-large rubber band can be used hold the bag in place, if you have one). The bags are of average strength; adequate for normal kitchen trash, but not super durable. There are no tie-flaps or drawstrings; this isn't a problem for me, but other people may not like the lack of closure. They are also very expensive compared to regular plastic bags. Overall I am fairly satisfied with BioBags and will continue to buy them, but I look forward to other companies producing biodegradable bags in the future, so that taller, cheaper bags might become available.
