this makes me break out and im 43 yrs old but anything w/ Vitamin E makes me break out... a GREAT one to try if this makes you break out is their SERUM 20.... still has Vitamin C and photoaging protection but never makes me break out and is much less greasy than the CEFerulic

I think this product is a great example of how effectiveness varies by skin type. I can see that some people couldn't live without this stuff, however it's effects on my skin were decidedly not good. It is a Major, MAJOR pore clogger for me. I had brown/black heads all over my face (I don't have them normally) immediately after I started using it, and they cleared up as soon as I stopped usage. It smells like beef boullion and that was hard for me and my husband to get used to. As far as it's effectiveness at reducing wrinkles and freckles, I can't say since I had to discontinue it so quickly.

This stuff is AMAZING!! I'm in my late 20s and I am oh so ever glad that I started using this product now. It really is a miracle. I've purchase all the expensive other face stuff (Dior, Prevage, La Mer...) This CE Ferulic is the best. At first the smell kind of got to me, but after I saw the change in my sun-blotched/ acne prone/early aging skin, I did not care. It works. I'm on week 4 of using this product, but the results are immediate. My skin is clear, REALLY soft and is glowing. Today, I got up and decided that I could wear a lot less makeup to work than I normally do. Instead of purchasing a ton of different creams to find out which one works the best, save your money and buy this one. This and a moisturizer is really all you need. And no... I do not work for Skinceuticals, but I'd think about it after using this!

This item is expensive, but I finally decided to give it a try and am I ever glad I did. After only about a week and a half, it's already working it's magic. My skin looks at least 10 years younger (I'm 36) very smooth, bright, and dewy. Fine lines appear to lessen and dissolve with each application. If I combined this stuff with botox, it would probably be like discovering the fountain of youth, lol. Will buy again and again and again!!

The C E Ferulic, is amazing. I was very skeptical but after a facial, my esthetician recommended this to me. It's a hefty price tag but I decided to buy it. I don't regret it for a second. My skin has changed for the better and I credit the serum.

Love this product. My sister, a dermatologist, recommended it bc of its protective effects. I am 43, and am outdoors most days of the week...in Southern CA. I am an avid distance trail runner/hiker, and a very slow one, so I am out there far longer and during hours I know I should not be. I use this under my sunblock (I use zinc/titanium oxide blocks on my face) and I did get carded a couple of weeks ago, though I think the checker had eyesight issues! I also have pretty fair facial skin, despite being out there at high noon at times. Skinceuticals says it boosts the protectiveness of your sunscreen 8x, and if that is so then it is the essential product for someone who spends a lot of time in the sun, but doesn't want wrinkles and age spots and skin cancer.

The first thing is there is a good amount of L-ascorbic acid in this product. 15%, and I think that's great. It doesn't smell it goes on well, it only takes 5 drops to cover my face and hands. C E Ferulic doesn't have a lot of extra stuff in it. I love that. My skin looks good, it feels good. I think this helps heal wounds, I had a few scratches on my face from my baby, and some bruising under my nose. They both healed faster while I was using this than they had at other times...

I find this product to be comparable to Orange Daily 10% Vitamin C serum -- but a lot more costly. Both are good at softening fine lines and even reducing the size of skin milia (little bumps under the skin), as well as reducing pimple outbreaks. But both turn my skin pink-to-red and can only be used on specific spots, not over the entire face. I think this product is overpriced for its effectiveness.

I rarely find a product so effective, but this one has been great. I've only been using it for a little over a month and can already see a difference in my skin; its overall tone is smoother and brighter. I suffer from hormonal acne on my chin; this has completely evened out the scarring and I'm also not breaking out anymore. Definitely worth the cost.
