This curler is really cheap but it works better than a regular curler for me. I get a much better curl that holds longer than a traditional curler. It heats up pretty quickly and doesn't burn. The curl can hold overnight without mascara, which is pretty surprising.

I loved mine while it worked. I used it 2-3 times a week from Oct-May. Changed the batteries once April 30th (I knew the batteries needed to be changed because the green light no longer turned on. It would have been nice if the light was in the back as well so that you could see that it wasn't lit in the mirror while you were trying to use it). May 12 it quit heating. I knew because when the rubber cushion is warm, it turns from pinkish to no color and it was still pinkish even though the green light was on as if it was working.

I bought 4 of these after reading the mostly-great reviews and neither myself nor my 3 friends had any luck. I can't imagine that we all got duds, so what's the secret? The light is on, I hold it shut for well over a full minute (my thumb is starting to get really sore!), but it doesn't get hot!

The first time I used it, it fell a very short distance to the ground and fell completely apart, impossible to repair. If you're the type who ever drops ANYTHING (or if any child ever enters your home), consider another product.

DOESN'T WORK! The light comes on to show it's heating, but doesn't actually get hot. I used a cheap heated curler before that took a while to get hot, but worked great. It only took one pass to curl all day. This one I can leave on my lashes forever. A few times, and it barely curls. Maybe mine was defective, but I was very disappointed in this product.

It's a really GREAT item to invest in! Definitely not a toy - it works! Heats up in a short period of time, and the best part is that it really curls up my lashes! And for a low price like this one, hey, you really got to check this out! Highly recommended!
