Don't use too much, or else you'll just grease out your hair, but a small spritz over your hair before straightening and it's great! Nice, shiny, heat-protected hair! Can't forget the unbeatable price, as well.

I love this product! I have been using it for about 5 years. I can no longer find it in most retail stores, but I found it on here. I have fine, straight hair. I use this product everyday before blow drying, and my hair stays much healthier. I only have to trim split ends once a year using this as opposed to every couple of months without this product. I would highly recommend it to keep hair healthy!

This is a great product especially if you use a flat iron or a curling iron. It helps keep the frizzies away and protects your hair from the heat.

This product has a very strong smell - smells like old perfume -- It actually smells OK when you just smell it from the bottle, but on the smell is just too strong. I am not sure if it actually works or not as I use it sporadically (the smell gives me a headache) - anyway, it's def. the cheapest alternative to more expensive similar product and I believe it has been recently discountinued (you won't probably find it at local drugstores). I don't recommend it to people who can't handle strong smells.

VO5 Heat Defense is the only product I use on my hair. I spritz it on all over my hair after it is washed. I blow dry my hair & then use a curling iron or straightener. This product keeps my hair from looking dry & brittle. I like this better than gel since gel can leave my hair looking greasy & feeling sticky. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT.

VO5 Heat Defense is the best product for flatironing that I've used - and I've tried MANY, including FrizzEase, Tresemme & Garnier. It has THE best smell, and definitely leaves hair shinier and straighter than the others. For blow drying it isn't quite as effective, althouth I noticed it helped blow dry my roots straighter than some of the competition. But it's best used on dry hair with hot irons and curlers. Unfortunately I think this product is being discontinued! I could only find it on drugstore.com.

I have shoulder-length hair that I am trying to grow longer. Recently, the ends have been drying out and have become frizzy and damaged. I dislike heavy creams, so I decided to try this. I love it! It goes on as a fine mist and adds instant conditioning. It detangles my hair and leaves it soft, shiny, and healthy looking. Since using this product my damaged hair has significantly improved. Because of this stuff I can hold off on trimming my hair!

About two years ago on Star 94 they would have a weekly quick picks. This is where the dee-jay would tell about a favorite product she found. She said this was great to spray on your hair after showering to help with frizzies and just made it easier to style your hair (no more mousse). Well I tried it and have told all of my girlfriends. They all love it! But... lately it has become almost impossible to find it in drugstores or discount stores. I live in Atlanta Ga.

Great product! I don't use heat utensils all that often because it makes my hair look dried out, but I have been using a curling iron and flat iron more often because of this product. It makes the heat take more effectively and it feels like it protects my hair.
