These things are like a miracle. They didn't totally prevent a canker sore from forming after I bit my lip. But, they kept the bite from turning into the enormous debilitating monster that it usually would. I hardly noticed it was there. I had no trouble eating or speaking, and my lip never visibly swelled. The sore was gone in several days instead of two weeks. Salt doesn't work. Hydrogen peroxide doesn't work. Ambesol doesn't do anything but sting and then numb my tongue. These work!

What a pain in the mouth. I was so excited to try these and will probably end up throwing out the box. The patch feels really thick in your mouth. It took it over an hour to become a gel like covering over my sore. (On the box it says 30 minutes - if I had read that, I would have left it on the shelf.) This is not a product you can use and go on about your life. In the mean time I couldn't talk, eat or drink easily. I used it while I was just watching TV and still felt uncomfortable. It also burned during the early stages.

The claims of this product seemed too good to be true, but it worked! After using one tab each on two different sores, they are gone! I can still see a teeny hole, but it is flesh-colored & not a white sore. The pain is ALL gone and it is clearly no longer infected. I am sure it will be gone in NO time. This cut a week and a half off the healing time. The tabs are slightly minty, I had a little tingling but no pain (not compared to the sore)and it does help keep your breath a little fresher. Downsides are: Gel coating was a bit goopy at times. Little bits come off as it dissolves. Just slightly yucky & I'd put up with it every time, but be prepared. The one inside my lip stuck to my teeth and made it hard to look normal. Next time I will do it at night or when alone. The gel coating is not thin either, so near the opening to your mouth it might be visible & look kinda gross. Just do it at night. A++ product!!!

Adults & children 5 years of age and older:

Place the Canker Cover patch on a clean, dry finger with the white side up, then place and hold the white side on the sore for 20 seconds
Some discomfort may develop during the initial few minutes after application for a small group of users, but will quickly subside and provide hours of soothing relief
Within 30 minutes the patch becomes gel-like
It absorbs fluids form the sore as part of the healing process and expands slightly
