I just tried these Hoodia pills for the first time and I'm thrilled to death. For the past five months I've been trying to loose about 15-20 lbs by eating healthy foods and working out 3-5 times a week, but keep sabotaging my own efforts by eating too much at night. I participate in active nightly activities that leave me famished by the time I return home. I try to eat small amounts of food evenly throughout the day to ward off hunger at night, but to no avail (I usually don't have time to eat for a good 8-9 hours and am fairly active throughout this time frame, so it's really not surprising that I feel starved). When I returned home this evening, I took one pill with a small-ish glass of water and went to the kitchen to make my planned dinner. Within 15 minutes, my usually insatiable drive to eat was gone. I just ate about half the amount I normally would and have plenty of leftovers for tomorrow. If it weren't for the fact that I really didn't eat enough today, I probably would have finished cooking and just put away the food I had just prepared. I was still able to eat, and thoroughly enjoyed my food, but didn't feel the need to consume the same amount I normally would have, and did so at half the speed. I should also mention that I just got my period, which usually doubles the problem! I couldn't be happier- it's nice to still be able to eat after taking this product. Now, I just hope it continues to work!

I have been taking this for about 3 weeks now and its really worked to suppress my appetite. I am trying to lose about 5-7 lbs of pudge from my last pregnancies and needed a bit of help. I take just one a day, at about 10 am after a light breakfast, and I feel great the rest of the day, despite trying to keep to about 1650 calories a day. I just don't have that starving, deprived, empty, hungry, weak feeling I usually have with dieting. Make no mistake, you still have to have discipline, count calories, and exercise -- Hoodia won't do it for you -- its just somehow easier to do so with Hoodia. I've lost about 3 lbs so far -- not huge but reasonable and its been easier than any diet I've ever tried. Haven't noticed any side effects, and some days its appetite suppressant effects seem to last into the next day too. The key is to enjoy the (healthy) food you eat, but eat less, and this stuff has made this easier.

Eh, this product did reduce my appetite, but not as much as I had hoped. I've been taking it for about two weeks and with working out I've lost about 3 lbs. Not too sure if it the Hoodia helped or not.

This stuff actually made me want to eat MORE. I took it as directed several times, and after a few days, I was eating a lot more and couldn't seem to control myself. I have enough trouble with over-eating, this was not a good product for me. Maybe it was psychological, but I can't use this product.

This is the BEST hoodia for the price! I take 2 in the morning before breakfast and 2 at lunch time, and my appetite is gone the whole day. Occasionally I'll take 2 with dinner. This hoodia is great because they don't mix it with green tea, which gives me headaches and jitters. The glucomannan is extra fiber, which aborbs fat and blocks calories in the intestines. I think hoodia and glucomannan is the best combination, is all-natural, and better than green tea. I love this product, and I will buy it again!!

This is the first time I have EVER gone to the trouble of writing a review for an item...but I have to say, this stuff REALLY WORKS in suppressing my appetite. I took two of these yesterday morning before I went to work, and drank a Costco version of Slimfast on the drive over. I didn't get a single hunger pang ALL DAY...and I'm usually craving food like every couple hours while I'm at work! I left after 6 pm, and I STILL wasn't really hungry yet! I would give this product 10 stars, if I could, especially because it is all natural and not chemicals. Finally, a healthy way to suppress my appetite - that REALLY WORKS!

This did not work for me, and I decided to experiment and see what happens when you mix it with water. I broke open two gel caps and mixed it with 6-8 oz water and not much happened. It remains 98% water after 1/2 hour. I would have expected the glucomannon portion to gel up - which might create a feeling of fullness, but it did not, and I think that the amount of Hoodia in the product is too small to make much diffference, although my doctor told me that Nature's Way is reputable and should contain what it says it contains.

I tried this product after listening to all the hoopla about Hoodia and was terribly disappointed. I have tried Metabolite in the past and it helped keep my appetite under control. I'll go back to Metabolite, this Hoodia doesn't work AT ALL. I bought two bottles and will now throw one unopened bottle into the trash, it's worthless.

These haven't done squat for my appetite. Maybe hoodia just doesn't work for everyone... *shrug*
