Bottom Line: recommended

It is a well made mat. It may be a tad thicker than some, but I would not say it is noteable. It took a few days to release the intense curling at the ends. It has a strong chemical odor, which I have read is common in yoga mats. I am not thrilled with the color, but it is growing on me.

A very nice yoga mat from Gaiam. This is the one to buy. It doesn't slip, really, and the purple is a nice color. Definitely my favorite yoga mat as of yet.
