At first, I was not impressed and was actually going to return it. Then, after a couple of weeks I noticed that my chronic hangnails were pretty much gone! I have always had ugly dry cuticles, even tho I've used various cuticle creams/butters/lotions for years. I thought that was just as good as it was going to get. Then, after thinking the L'Occitane was just an overpriced hand lotion, I noticed that it pretty much cured my dry cuticle problem!!! So, I'm no longer having to use the messy cuticle treatments (and I had even tried using pure unrefined shea butter), and use only this product, and my hands are in the best shape ever! Wish it wasn't so ridiculously expensive, but it is long-lasting and effective. Even using it once in the morning and before bedtime seems to do the trick. It lasts through multiple hand washings.

I absolutely love this hand cream. If you have dry skin, this cream is for you, especially in the winter. It is rich and luxurious and the shea butter makes my skin feel super soft. My only complaint is about the packaging: the tube is too tough to squeeze the product out, the smaller version of this product has a way better tube.

I mostly use it after washing my hands but it's great for whenever your hands feel dry. You don't have to walk around smelling like a flower garden or fruit salad.....there's not much of an after smell at all. Wish it didn't cost so much though. I received it as a gift after never hearing of it before. I'm still using my tube. I bought this tube for my mother-in-law for Christmas.

I found this last winter when I was out of town and forgot my hand lotion. I get dry cracked hands in the winter. This cream solves my wintertime hand problem. In addition, it is a great conditioner for my nails -- since I started using this cream my nails have become strong and long. In the summertime I switch to the L'Occitane shea lotion. This hand cream is a must!

I look for the cheapest product that really works. I find that this handcream is so far superior to ones I can get at a drugstore/grocery or natural market. I use it at bedtime on my hands I find that is the most effective time for me because I am not washing my hands. I hate to wash off product. It is really expensive, but keeps me from having a whole bunch of creams and moisturizers. I use it after I shave my legs because I have sensitive skin and get irritated even using a shave product for sensitive skin. It keeps my leggs feeling better. I highly recomend this procut it works iin the dry climiate I live in in the winter.

I have tried many hand creams. This is my favorite of all time.

Cream is excellent for bedtime moisturizing of your hands. It absorbs well and smells light. Hands are soft in the morning.
