Great alternative to tampons that use bleach. I used ob for years before I realized that organic tampons were available. Once I realized that companies add chemicals to non-organic tampons, I switched immediately. These are a must for any woman trying to eliminate unnecessary chemicals from her body. I've had no problems with leakage and wear these after my first 2 heavy days are over.

I've been using these 100% cotton, chlorine free tampons because they don't contain materials that are thought to be linked to cancer such as dioxin or rayon. They are 100% effective, good for the environment, and give me peace of mind.

I prefer using an unbleached tampon, and these do an adequate job, but they are not as absorbent as ob. I had the same experience as another reviewer: spotting even though the tampon wasn't saturated. I don't have that problem with ob. I have not tried any other brand of "natural" (unbleached) tampons, and I wonder if Natracare is any better. I have to echo another reviewer who found the wrapper difficult to open. A more obvious tab for opening would be a welcome improvement to this product!

At first I was nervous about using tampons without an applicator, but I love these tampons! They are small and require very little packaging so they can go anywhere with you, because you don't have to try to hide the big bulky applicator. They are actually very easy to insert, stay put, and are comfortable to wear. I also love that they are natural, not dyed and bleached like so many other products. I have seen a change in my flow and cramps since switching to all natural products. I'll never go back!

THis company truly cares about the environment-- both for its products impact on the environment and how the products are safe and healthy for customers. These tampons are small with no applicator (a turn off to some) but are efficient and comfortable for me. The cost is a little high compared to other national brands, but the price of knowing no chemicals are leaching into my body is one I'm willing to pay.

These tampons are great! I will never use any other tampon again. I was a little hesitant to switch to a tampon with no applicator, but when I thought of what a waste they are-- & lets just say it...it is NOT gross to use an applicator-free tampon. We are adults, you should be able to be comfortable with you body & it's not that difficult to insert. I feel so much better knowing that I'm doing something better for my body by not using a tampon that is bleached with chlorine & who-knows-what-else. It's a HUGE bonus to know that I'm not throwing away unnecessary applicators & larger wrappers & that these are biodegradeable!! DEFINETLY recommend!!!

I like these tampons because they are equally as comfortable as the best the tampon market has to offer minus unfriendly chemicals. The tampon part is comparable to a Playtex tampon. Usually I'm not a fan of cardboard applicators, put the tampon is slim and the little tabs haven't flipped the wrong way upon insertion as Tampax sometimes do, plus of course these can biodegrade.
