I used to use Always and kotex, always messed their pads up by putting a GEL CORE in them (making them feel MORE wet) kotex was ok and dry BUT the were still bleached and I was having problems with endometrosis. I now only use these and all my cysts )praise God are gone. Call me crazy if you want to but I truly belive that these helped me because they dont use the harsh chemicals and dont contain dioxins. so I thought I'd share with others so they can get help too. Try these you will not only be happy with them you'll never use anything else ever again I promise. ORDER THESE! I had high hopes for the pads after reading so many positive reviews, but alas, after my second pack (I also use the "overnights") I don't think I will be purchasing another pack. Oddly enough, I find that my skin actually gets irritated from using these pads. By day 5 of my period, I have a rash. I think, like another poster commented, it is due to feeling like I'm wrapping my underwear in plastic wrap. There is just something about the material being used that does't sit well with my skin. It does seem way more "plasticky" than the Stayfrees that I usually use and my skin almost feels like it always has a slight burn. Also, I have to change the pad more often than with the Stayfree pads because it does feel wet and it does not seem to absorb so well. Despite changing these pads often, I have had quite a few leaks (as well as with the overnights)--and a couple of times I didn't even realized I had leaked! I don't have an unusually heavy flow, in fact ever since I had my 3rd child, I would say that my flow has become relatively mild (pre-kids I had a heavy flow). I noticed from the posts, however, that people who use Always pads seem to rave about these pads and the two posters that weren't so thrilled about these pads were Stayfree users like myself. I should note that I had to stop using Always because the pads irritated my skin and felt way too plasticky for me. I prefer the feeling of the material used with Stayfree pads. If we're talking "natural" pads, I prefer the feel of the material in Natracare pads, but they too were very "leaky." Like the other poster, I'm surprised that Seventh Generation uses platic to individually wrap their pads while Stayfree does not. In fact, I'd be just fine if all the pad companies just nixed the whole "individually wrapped" thing. Again, I really want to like these pads. I've tried to like them buy going through two packs of regulars and overnights. I think I might try cotton pads instead of disposables. Even though they might feel wet, I am thinking that I won't get a rash from them and I won't be adding to the landfills. I am petite, so size wise, these pads were good--but I think that's the most positive thing I can say about them. Since the whole package was sealed, think the stain was made by the manufacturer. Do not want to use this pack so asked to return all of them to the customer service but have not heard any reply yet. Very disappointed since I trusted this brand.

Comments about Seventh Generation Chlorine Free Ultra-Thin Pads, Regular, 18 ea, 1 pack: The ultra-thin regular pads are great. I've been using the brand for over a year and love that they are just as good as the national brands but go beyond in looking out for women's health by not using chlorine in their creation. Plus the company espouses eco- & fuana-friendly manufacturing processes. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend (1 of 1 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful?
