Regular fish oil capsules give me heart burn, these don't. They are also on the list I checked of fish oil that is least likely to contain bad contaminants.

My dermatologist insisted I use the Nature Made brand because he says their supplements and vitamins have met some established standards based on research. Many of these brands have not met such criteria and since the FDA does not regulate them, they can say they do whatever without proving it. The heart and other health benefits (including skin, apparently) of Omega 3s and Fish Oil are well-established.

I can't actually rate how well these work because the pills were so ridiculously huge that I couldn't take them. If you have *any* troubles with swallowing large pills, don't order these. These are about the biggest vitamins I've seen yet. Thankfully my boyfriend is able to swallow pills the size of field mice, so I was able to pass them off to him rather than toss them into the trash. Sheesh. C'mon folks, how about making these half the size - I'd rather have to take two than choke to death trying to swallow this monster.

I'm trying this fish oil for my health for one year and the oderless is hard to find in the store. I ordered enough for my year and if my blood work shows improvement I'll stay on it. I hate the "fish burbs" that come if its not oderless.

This is the only brand I've used that either doesn't stank out of the bottle or after you burp. You still get some fish burps but the quantity is greatly reduced. This is the only brand I use and I've been popping these for 2-3 years

This is supposed to be "natural" and yet it is coated with "methacrylic Acid Copolymer" !!??? These are chemicals of plastic origin and I wonder how taking something that is supposed to be good for you (fish oil) could cause greater harm via the very "unnatural" coating?! This information deterred me from taking it again. I wrote to the "Nature Made" company and they minimized my concerns, but didn't really address the "chemical" part of my question at all.

I take the Omega-3 Fish Oil 1200 Mg every morning. I have had no problem taking these. I do put mine in the freezer and take one out at a time to make sure I dont' burp it up, but I have never had that problem with this brand.

I had held off on taking fish oil for a long time because I was worried that the smell of the pills would gross me out and was worried about "fish burps." But, these have been great - so glad I tried them.
