Is a nice, light-weight moisturizer with a light sunscreen, but does not cover blemishes and imperfections in one's complexion. Would not recommend for it's overall coverage as makeup, but would recommend it as a moisturizer and light sunscreen.

I really wanted to like this product but I just don't. The main problem is the coverage...there is none with this product. I prefer medium to full coverage foundation and I did not get that with this product. It gave me less coverage than a tinted moisturizer. I will not be wasting my money on a product that does nothing to hide or at least reduce my imperfections.

I've always had trouble picking out the right color for my face makeup, so this type of product is great. I did try one other kind that had only one "color" and it didn't really cover. The Almay goes one better by having Light, Light-Medium and Medium. It's easy to apply and looks great.

I am really impressed with the quality of this product. My skin requires medium to full coverage of makeup, and when I use this as a base and add a thin layer of powder foundation on top, I get perfect, natural coverage (as opposed to when I would use mineral foundation exclusively, which would always look cakey). I am pleased that one tube lasts a long time- you only need a couple of drops and BLEND very well:) The sun protection is an added bonus.

I am responding to a gal who said if you have acne this doesn't cover. Has she tried the Almay Smart Shade Concealer? That is a fantastic product. I've used a lot of concealers and this is the best one I've ever used. It really sets itself so that applying the foundation doesn't remove it. I always use it before applying foundation. I'm so impressed with the makeup and concealer that I'm going to order a couple of the Smart Shade Blushes.

The only thing unique about this product is that the color is contained in granules instead of being premixed. So when you rub it, the granules are mixed into the white base and the color is released. The color does not "transform" and can't even be controlled by how much you rub it like I expected. Bottom line: it's an ordinary foundation that only comes in few colors, and you can't see what color it is until after you put it on. If you like this product, better stock up because I doubt it will be on the market for long.

It comes out in a weird whitish shade and then you put it on and can watch it change color!
