It's a very simple to use process and looks nice when done properly or even improperly. It's super hard to mess up the lightening! I have noticed, however, that it seems to dry my hair just a bit although it claims the product is 'easy on hair.' It isn't that bad and can be fixed with a bit of conditioning.

I am a lifelong natural blonde who never paid much attention to my hair color b/c it was...good. However, about ten years ago I noticed in a photo that my color had become DRAB. I tried some color products but they were WAAAAY too much...I began using this stuff and it was exactly right. I only use it about once a month, and never in the summer because it does lighten up in the sun. And, I only apply it to my scalp, trying to keep it off the ends. It's perfect. I get tons of compliments on my hair color.

My hair has darkened over the years from tow-head blonde to dirty dish-water blonde. I've tried regular hair dyes in a variety of blonde shades, but it never looked like natural sun highlighting. This is great. Just spray it on, comb it through and dry with a hair dryer. It is a gradual highlighting that looks natural, not bottle-dyed. I use it about once a week to keep the highlights even.

Although I haven't used it in awhile, it was the only product that gave me the results I wanted.

I have been using this product on-and-off for about 15 years. While I only use it on occassion, I am always extremely pleased with the product and results. I have naturally dark brown hair and this spray gradually lightens my hair to a natural (yes - natural!) looking blonde. I color my hair frequently, I love to change up my look, and I can say that this product definitely leaves my hair feeling healthy, not damaged.

My hair is brown, well usually,(I like to dye it in the winter months) this doesn't turn it orange it looks like I've spent hours and hours in the sun. Which I gather from the name is the point Sun-in. This with the Panama Jack amplifer, you'd think I didn't watch the news. What skin cancer?

I had pretty honey blonde hair that i just wanted to lighten a little. This product turned it platinum looking after only 2 uses. I was dissapointed. I cant wait for my hair to grow out. But it did do what it said. It lightened my hair.

I am known for my beautiful long blonde hair. I have received nothing but compliments... in fact everyone (even my boyfriend) has just assumed that I am a natural blonde. The truth is that I naturally have light brown hair and have been using sun-in for about 9 years. I agree with some of the past comments... it is a bit difficult to maintain roots with this product. And of COURSE, this isn't going to be a miracle product for everyone. But as a personal testimonial, sun-in has changed my life. I have found a way to look like the classic California blonde with virtually no cost. When I get my hair cut, I am always told that my hair is shiny, healthy, etc. I will admit that I don't completely understand this product. I mean bleach is bleach and it's hard to believe that it could ever be good for your hair. But I can only believe the comments that I have gotten from so many people over the past years. My only fear is that I won't be able to use this if I get pregnant one day.

I have dark brown hair and have been using this for years. It makes my hair a very natural-looking medium brown, the same shade my hair was when I was younger. Mine doesn't come out orange. It's nice because the grey is less noticeable with lighter hair.

I'm a licensed cosmetologist, and to not be lynched by a mom of angry stylists, I'm leaving this review anonymously. Here's the facts: Fact #1: Sun-In uses a low volume hydrogen peroxide. Fact #2: Most hair colors and all lighteners use hydrogen peroxide, and most blonde shades use a much higher volume than Sun-In, therefore Sun-In is NOT going to "fry" your hair any more than traditional color. Fact #3: The difference is that Sun-In lightens your hair without depositing a color into it as it lightens, so natural "warm" pigments show through. So depending on how much natural "warm" pigments are in your hair will determine the results you'll get. It may take several applications before you've reached your perfect shade. Fact #4: Using a blow dryer on high heat will yield much more even and reliable results. Fact#5: I have been using Sun-In on my lt. brown hair for years, and my hair is soft, shiny, and no one knows I'm not a natural blonde!
