This product works great. I am a natural blond and use it only during the winter months for that touch of summer natural look.

I use this as a substitute for the now discontinued Touch of Sun by Clairol. I use this once a week around my roots to "pump up" my highlights (my hair is medium blonde). Some caveats: don't use every day. This stuff is a bit drying. Be sure to condition your hair well if you use this. In addition, use this only if you have blonde or light brown hair, it tends to make brown haired girls orange. I use this in the sun's heat, using a blow dryer tends to cause frizziness. Overall, while I loved Touch of Sun, this is an adequate substitute.

This product is great. I have normal dark brown hair (not too dry, not too oily). I used this product last winter to sort of lighten up my brown hair a few shades, and the results were great. Although it did dry out my hair a little bit, it didn't fry it (I use it about once or twice a week or once every 2 weeks). My dark hair turned a chesnutty reddish shade after a couple of uses - now that my roots have grown in im thinking about usuing it again. I recommend using it with the Neutrogena Deep Conditioning and Moisturizing Shampoo along with the John Frieda Hair Glaze (that's what I do).

I LOVE this product. I have dry hair and it doesn't seem to affect it. If you shampoo and condition regularly, you should be fine. If you're a weekly shampooer - forget it. ALWAYS use everything in moderation. A few sprays, a couple of times a week and presto! This works best on dirty/dark blondes. If you are a brunette or a redhead, chances are you'll go more orange. This isn't a miracle spray or hair dye. Let's get smart people. Blondes and light brunettes can feel safe with this product.

My sister and I have used this product for the last 15 years with excellent natural-looking results. We both have dark blond hair. I don't understand reviewers who say they use it every week or every day. Why would you do that? If you went to a salon every day and highlighted your hair you would also end up with damaged hair!!! I use it like once a month. I spray it on lightly and not right onto the scalp because then roots will look bad as the hair grows out. I would never use this on brown hair and I would not use it to excess on dark blond hair either. It is not meant for turning your entire head blond - it is meant to gently highlight your hair a little bit.

I have naturally blond hair that I never colored or highlighted. I used this last year because in the winter my hair tends to get darker. I loved it. I did not use it everyday, just twice a week, and it made my hair noticeably lighter. I would use it again.

I feel the Sun-In with Lemon is the better of the 2 they have and works the best on warm summer days when I can swim and spray it on wet hair, amazing how fast it works. The rest of the year it does not work as fast the blow dry experience takes forever. I have been using it for over 25 years my hair is in great condition but I also use a shampoo & condition for highlighted hair, deep condition my hair after every use and cut it every 5 -6 weeks. Every time I have switched new hairdressers they are AMAZED at the great condition and color of my hair. My biggest problem now is I want to be a brunette, but to face the cost of a salon every 3 weeks to color my hair is a huge cost compared to the inexpensive Sun-In way.

I love this product. It really gives my hair a nice sun-kissed color and I highly recommend it. It obviously doesn't work for everyone, but you won't know until you try. I think it's a great, natural looking alternative to expensive salon dyes.

I used this at the beach one summer and my hair turned orange! No joke -- brassy coppery orange. my hair is not even that dark, it's a dark blonde. Horrible product with horrible results!

I have used this product off and on since I was a teen-ager --yes, it has been around THAT long! Get real with the way you use it! For goodness sakes do not use heavily or every day! THIS STUFF IS BLEACH! I use it once a week, giving me a natural lightening over a period of time. I have never had a problem with odd color or damage. If you have anything done at a salon, be sure to be upfront with your operator about what you have been using!
