We have used these since the birth of our son. Every time he's been congested (which happens when he's teething) and any time he's had a cold or it seems he's under the weather. He's going to be 2 in a few months and we still use it. I recommend this VERY highly... the scent is soothing and people have asked me what air freshner I use because it smells like a spa... I have tried Vicks brand also.... and they don't smell as nice and aren't as effective. I'm very pleased w/this and will continue to use them. I buy them in bulk, because I can't often find them in the drugstores locally.
A tip for placing them in the nightlight dispenser because I've seen some people complain about that. I use an old tweezer, works like a charm.

This keeps my 21 month old's chest congestion nice and loose during the night when she has a cold, but it would be much better without the nightlight. She is in a fairly small room, and no matter where we plug it in, the light shines right in her face.

We have used a Gentle vapors strip every night in the plug-in unit for the last 18 months to help in the aid of stopping snoring for my husband (age 58) AND IT WORKS!! He sleeps through the night, and now so do I!! We wanted an alternative to the breathe strips that he had been using prior to finding these since he was sensitive to the adhesive. These Gentle Vapor strips are so worth it!

Whenever my 5 year old son has a cold or his allergies have him congested, I plug this in his room and he almost instantly can breathe easier. He gets a wonderful night's rest and, therefore, so do I. It's a must-have to have on hand. I LOVE this product. It's a little tricky getting the pad in and out, but not hard.

love this product! as a mother of two children and a newborn/pediatric nurse, I'm always looking for an effective product with few side effects. this product works well for decongestion and coughing during the night-time. my kids sleep through the night without the need for oral medication.

We use this when our 9-month old child has a cold. Since it is unsafe to administer cold medicine to children this young, having the vapor pads allows us to help keep her nasal passages clear so that she can breath easier.

Tear foil pouch at notch to expose pad. Do not touch pad directly
Slide pad into side slot of plug-in unit completely. Inserting a new pad will push out the old one. Discard old pad
Insert plug-in unit into a 120-volt electrical outlet with nightlight at bottom (rotate unit if necessary)
Replace pad after 8 hours of use
When using plug-in unit with pad inserted, do not leave unit in outlet for more than 16 hours at a time. Replace pad before next use.
Nightlight use: Unplug unit. Allow to cool for 10 minutes. Remove pad to use plug-in unit as a nightlight only. Discard old pad.
PediaCare Gentle Vapors refill pads are for use only with PediaCare Gentle Vapors plug-in unit.
A light layer of oil may form on the plug-in unit during use. Should this occur, unplug the unit and wipe with a dry cloth.
