Used on stretch marks on breasts. It really works to diminish redness.

I'd heard this product was a great stable for pregnant moms, but I really was very disappointed. It's quite greasy, which I wouldn't mind except it makes my skin break out all around and under my breasts. I even started getting a few pimples on my belly! I do have mildly oily, sensitive skin, but have never broken out other than on my face. This did nothing to prevent stretch marks, which I didn't really expect it to. It did help with the dryness, but the heavy amount of mineral oil in this (it's the second ingredient) irritated my skin too much.

I'm now 8 months pregnant, and I've been using this since I was 4 months. This is my second pregnancy--I really wish I had known about this 10 years ago. With my first child I developed stretch marks. I wasn't excessively large but I did gain 40 lbs. Fortunately, those stretch marks were located on my lower abdomen so bikinis were still realistic for me. With this pregnancy, my stomach is much larger, but my weight gain has been modest. Since using this cream, Ive noticed a few things--1.my skin is very soft and smooth, 2.the old stretch marks feel much more smooth and its not easily felt on my skin, 3.there are NO new stretch marks. I use it everywhere too--breasts, buttocks, thighs and belly. I feel satisfied to say that so far this cream has allowed me to avoid having any new stretch marks. As everyone has mentioned, it is very greasy and heavy; it sometimes makes me hot and sweaty. But still well worth it. And I use it morning and night, lathering as much as possible on my stomach each time I apply it. I am now down to my last full jar and I will be buying 2 more, to get me through the last few months and for post pregnancy--just in case. All in all, I think this product is highly effective. I didnt give it 5 stars only because it would have been nice to have seen the old stretch marks fade and lighten more, which didnt happen. Otherwise, Im very pleased. For the price along with some multi-daily use and diligence, its well worth it!

I wanted to wait until my baby was born to rate the "Palmer's Tummy Butter" as I was scared I would develop stretch marks in the last days before delivery or so. BUT I gotta say, this is the BEST stuff and I am so glad I used this during my pregnancy because I did not get any marks at all and my baby was 8lbs!!!! But I used this religiously morning and night and the last weeks three times a day from about the third month on. It worked though and I am so surprised 'cause my mother and sister both developed stretch marks in pregnancy and not just a few...! Although I made sure to drink enough water and take in my vitamins I think this stuff is AMAZING and works wonders!!! A MUST-HAVE for pregnant women.

This product does not work as well as other Burt's Bees products that I have tried. It does provide relief from itchiness but it does not seem to help with the visual appearance of stretch marks.

With it's great ratings I thought this coca butter would work but i haven't seen a difference in my stretch marks.

I think that this is the least expensive maternity cream that you can find, but it works well. My only complaint is that it's greasy, so I just use it after my shower, before bed, when I don't mind if it gets on my PJs. By the morning, the greasiness is gone. I also really like the scent. I used this during my first pregnancy and did not get any stretch marks on my stomach. While I don't know if that is attributed to genetics or the product, I am not taking any chances and am using it during my second pregnancy as well!
