Water level should not reach baby's shoulders. This item is not a toy. Always check temperature of water before placing child in bath. And adult should text water with their own hand before giving children a bath. Do not rely solely on accuracy of safety disc as color change function may cease to work properly and may become worn over time. Test safety disc regularly and replace tub at fist sign of wear. Discard tub immediately if punctured, torn or damaged.

Wouldn't it be awesome if there was an inflatable baby bathtub that we could take along when traveling? It is funny how every time that I think about something that would make our life easier, Munchkin already has done it, better than I expected and looking super cute!
This bathtub is said to be for babies who can sit without support but I decided to give it a try even though our little one still needs some support to sit. It worked fine, I just helped her to stay upright while washing her with the other hand, similar to what I used to do when she was a newborn.
The bottom is textured so that it is not slippery and the tail of the duck can be a head rest if needed. It is made with a pretty thick plastic (thicker than many beach inflatables) so I guess it will last long. Even though it is big, it does not take long to inflate and it is an easy task if you know how to. I have read some reviews in different sites saying it was very hard to blow... Well, most inflatables nowadays have valves to impede the air coming out but you have to pinch them to let the air in without effort!
I did not have any issues with the HOT sign, I used my "handmometer" feeling the water warm and it never showed the letters. It did change from blue to white with the HOT message when I tested if it worked. Maybe they solved the issue after some people found it was not accurate enough?
Anyway, a great addition to our baby gear and definitely a MUST for every little traveler!!

We love this baby bath! It is especially great for travel. My parents live on the other side of the world in a house with not a lot of room so we have to bring this inflatable tub with us when we visit. It's great that it deflates quickly and is so light-weight since every pound counts when you're packing luggage. Our 9 mos son (who is the size of a 12 mos) loves it when we squeeze the duck's beak and it quacks-- he just lights up when he hears it. Only trouble we have is that with all our traveling, something must have punctured the tub because it has a slow leak and we have to re-inflate a little bit every night. We have tried to find the leak so we can patch it with the included repair patches, but we haven't been able to find it. The safety button is a good idea, too, but we found it was not accurate. I received a water thermometer for a shower present so we use that instead.

The baby, at 8 months, could not have cared less what she was sitting in when I bathed her. However, this is great for me when I babysit because I don't have to scour the tub first and certainly don't have to worry about her slithering around or bumping her head or face on anything. Unlike the other posters, I did not have any trouble with the blue spot indicating a good water temp.

And this is the second time I'm buying it!...My 2 years old daughter used it that much that my new baby can use it anymore. Just want to add, that yes, this is a tube for babies that can sit unassisted...but, I had been using it with my 4 months old with no problem. Yes, my baby is bigger and chubby than the average kids, but thought, that someone can find this detail useful.

This works great for my 8 month old. However, the "too hot" safety feature was white forever! By the time it stopped showing it was too hot, the bath was done and the water was cold. I would buy it again because I like everything else about it, I just wouldn't recommend people by it for the temperature safety feature.

This is a great tub for babies around 6 months until 2 years. My daughter has been enjoying it for several months, and everyone comments on how cute it is. It fits inside the regular bathroom tub, so you can drain the water right out into the tub and generally keep the mess to a minimum. The duck's beak makes an entertaining "quack" when you squeeze it. We've even deflated this and taken it on vacation -- it is that essential.
To Inflate: For best results, inflate by mouth or use low pressure pump. Do not over-inflate. Do not use high-pressure compressor or pump.
Blow into the valve while squeezing the base of the valve slightly.
Once inflated, press the valve into the stem so that the valve becomes flat with the surface of tub.
Recommended use is to place inflated tub into dry, adult tub.
Before placing child in tub, fill tub with warm water. Allow water to sit for one minute. If the word HOT becomes clearly visible, water is too hot for baby. Add cold water and mix until the blue color begins to return to the disc. Continue until bath water returns to a comfortable, safe temperature.
To Clean: Sponge clean with mild soap and rinse. Do not use detergent or bleach. Air Dry.
