I am pretty desperate to get rid of some sun spots; however, this stuff stinks so bad I threw it out. I really do not understand how anyone can tolerate this horrible smell.

I love this cream. I swear by palmers fade cream and have used it for I know more than 10 years. It is a constant in my personal care arsenal. I have a hard time trying to locate it as well; it appears to be getting scarce in the stores. So when I find it I buy several jars at a time because it works so well at keeping the dark marks and acne scars at bay. Thanks so much!!!

I have been using this cream for I don't even remember how long. I rarely find it in stores anymore so I have had to purchase it through drugstore.com. It is by far one of the best if not the best skin cream for lightening scars of any kind. I use it daily in conjunction with another moisturizer. I am 26 and still have trouble with acne. So I use it on my acne scars and blemishes. But I wanted to note that I had a burn on my forehead from using a curling iron and it got rid of it as well. It did take a while but its like it never happened. Despite having problem skin I continuously get compliments on my skin and its all thanks to this product. And believe me I have tried tons and tons of products but I always come back to this one. It never fails and it has become a mainstay in my facial routine. In fact, it's my miracle product.

I think this product is great. I have acne scars on my back and face and have been using it and noticed a change within a few days to a week. I recommend this to anyone with scars and discolorations from acne. IT is great product!

I bought this product because I suffer from melasma... I swear by the Palmer's Cocoa Butter lotion. But, the smell of the product is so horrible (way too perfumey) that I had to stop using it because it was giving me headaches! Might be a good product if you don't have a sensitive sense of smell like I do!

I have been using this product for about 10 years and it is a good product however I have noticed some changes in ingredients, the original is the best. I also notice that my skin has become super sensitive especially when I am in warmer climates. -Michelle

I think that this is a great product. I used it about 5 years ago on some spots that I broke out with. I will try it again if I need it. GREAT!

I did not like this product at all it was very hard to rub into the skin. The only plus part was that it did not cost that much so it was not a big lost.

I had two melanoma surgeries over the past year on my stomach and thigh, which left 2 inch long glaring purple/red scars. I had faithfully used scar creams and vitamin e oil for months, then finally got sick of them. I had seen no changes that weren't part of my natural healing process. So, I found this Skin Success cream that I had used once before for flea bite scars on my ankles (which had cleared up, but I never attributed it to the cream at the time). I slathered some on the scars -- and I kid you not, within 2 days, I started to see a difference. The scars have improved so dramatically that I am in shock. It looks like someone took an eraser and is just erasing through the scar. The entire scar is lighter, and I have those intermittent white spots (the eraser look) that are completely gone. This is a true miracle product!

In terms of lightening hyperpigmentation spots, this is a great product; I've been using it for just a few weeks, and I can already see an improvement in the appearance of brown patches on my cheeks. However, it has caused my normally well-behaved skin to become clogged and develop a stubborn red rash. My suspicion is that this problem is caused by the sunscreen contained in the product, and not due to hydroquinone (the "lightening" ingredient). I'm going to give a hydroquinone cream without sunscreen a try instead; sunblock is a normal part of my skincare regimen anyway (and absolutely essential for fighting signs of aging!), so there's no need to "double up" on coverage. Bottom line: does what it says, but can be very irritating, so proceed with caution.
