I have long, straight, brown hair and this spray really does replenish the moisture in it. I use it while my hair is a little damp. It doesn't really detangle as much as I would like it to; I have to use a seperate product for that. Other than that, its a quality product, has a great price, from a trusted brand and I recommend it to anyone.

This is some awesome stuff! I moved to an area with hard water, and my old leave in spray just wasnt doing the trick anymore. So I bought this on a whim because I always associate Dove with being soft, and that's exactly what it does! Yes, the bottle is a bit narrow, and if you're hands are smooth and soft, you'll drop it a few times, but it's worth it if you ask me.

This works great for that little boost of moisture you need after blow drying. My highlighted hair can look a little dry after I've blown it dry. Now I spray a little of this on before drying and it really helps. I agree with the other reviewer about the grip of the bottle. It's very awkward and it's hard to hold it and spray. Please redesign the bottle Dove!

A friend of mine was wearing a new, full weave that was actually put in about 3 weeks ago. It looked so soft and healthy. Full of swing and obedience. I just assumed it was brand new! She said she had used the Dove Sheer Moisture to help with tangles. What tangles? "Exactly!" Needless to say, she has since removed the weave and is wearing her real shoulder length relaxed hair with the same luxury as the weave. The product doesn't promise any shine, so there is none, which is disappointing. But when it comes to softness and smoothness and a nice clean floral scent with no greasy feel at all, this is the best! Simply beautiful hair!

The product itself is ok, but the design of the bottle infuriates me so I don't ever use it. I can't grip the bottle in order to spray it on my hair. I have normal-sized hands, but the bottle is shaped in such a way that I can't spray with one hand, and what's the point if you have to use both hands? I will have to buy another spray bottle and refill it with the Dove when it's empty.

Great product for so cheap! I use this after shampooing and conditioning and on days when I skip shampoo and just rinse my hair. It is great for detangling and keeping my hair soft without weighing it down at all. It is a surprising complement to my shampoo and conditioner (Kerastase). It works very well with them. My hair is soft, shiny and bouncy since I started using this a week ago.
