I am very fair and quick to burn. I use this product as a base before venturing out. Often, however, I will reapply with a lotion for the added confidence. This product is very light and easy to apply. I have been well-protected and find it hard to believe that something so light can offer such complete protection.

It feels great on your skin, and you don't have to rub it in but you want to put in on outside or in the shower because the propellant to make it a continuous spray will stink up your whole bathroom and it makes it hard to breathe. It's kind of like aerosol hairspray.

I just bought this and the first time we tried it, my daughter and I got a pretty bad burn. We even applied every 45-60 minutes. I'm terribly disappointed.

Discovered this stuff right before a trip to an amusement park in April. I sprayed it on me and everyone else. No one got a burn, even with the water rides, hot temperatures, and excessive sweating. I don't use it every day at the pool, but I do keep it in my van or purse for those times when you forget, or just don't want to use traditional sunscreen. Well worth the extra cost.

Major issues: 1) It is NOT waterproof in the least, despite the label. It comes off entirely in water. 2) Product goes everywhere when you spray and is very hard to direct -- you waste a LOT. The entire can lasted two of us only *two days*, but cost as much as a tube of Ultra Sheer lotion that generally lasts us a month or more. 3) The product feels tacky on the skin -- Ultra Sheer lotion feels by far drier and more comfortable. I strongly recommend sticking with other products in Neutrogena's line while they take this one back to the drawing board.

Apply 15-30 minutes before sun exposure. Hold can 6-8 inches away from body and apply liberally, ensuring complete coverage. Do not spray into face. Spray into hand and apply to the face. Use in well ventilated area. Reapply after swimming, excessive perspiration, towel drying, or extended sun exposure.
