I have skin that burns easily. However that never stops me from wanting to tan. The first time I used this was in Palm Springs, CA. I slathered this product on thinking I would be protected but still catch some rays. After 4 hours in the sun, went back to my room...NOTHING, not even pink. I was as white as when I went out. Worked too well for me that time....

I've never been allergic to any sunscreen before. My skin doesn't burn unless I spend more than 4 unprotected hours in the sun. One day after using Neutrogena Sunblock, Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch SPF 55, I saw some redness on my arms and shoulders. I thought maybe I was getting burnt, which was a surprise. One more day later, a livid, painful, red blistery rash appeared everywhere that the sunscreen had been applied AND had been exposed to the sun, which was primarily my shoulders, arms and hands. (Thank GOODNESS I didn't put any on my face!) When I went back in the shade for a few hours, the rash would subside somewhat. Subsequent exposure to sun raised the rash back to its full bloom. I think my reaction was caused by the breakdown products of this product because it only occurred after it was applied to skin AND exposed to sun. When applied in the shade, the sunscreen caused no reaction whatsoever.

The best and ONLY sunblock I'll use!

Great product...I use it everyday (under my makeup). It's the best sunblock I've ever used...and nothing has ever worked for my oily skin without making me shiney and breaking out. This sunblock doesn't make me shiney or break out.

Really like this product, but when I go in the ocean it turns me white. Like it didn't rub in all the way. But I have lupus and need the protection!

I've been using this sunblock for a couple years and I must say that this is my absolute favorite. It's lightweight, non-greasy, absorbs quickly, goes on evenly, has little to no scent, and protects the way a sunblock should! It's also somewhat waterproof, but I still always re-apply after I've been swimming.

I got a bad sunburn and the next day splurged on sunscreen that I really thought would do a good job. Honestly I chose this one because I thought it wouldn't smell, which it doesn't, so that is a high point. It doesn't rub in very well, especially in creasy areas like knees and elbows, leaving white residue. But my number one problem was that it was definitely NOT sweatproof! I am a cyclist, and it definitely ran into my eyes after only a few miles, and when I returned home I realized my face was actually burned on my cheeks and nose. I should've just bought a greasy sport sunscreen that I knew would do the job.

I spent 10 hours hiking in the mojave desert in August applied every few hours and received no sunburn on the areas I applied on the areas I did not apply had a severe sunburn and much discomfort.

Excellent sun protectant.
