I really like this product. I have light skin, but bought the formula for medium skin anyway. I'm surprised to read reviews by people who say this doesn't work, because it works extremely well for me. I use it 3-5 time a week and I always look like I have a light, natural-looking tan. I don't have any problem with streaks at all, and no self-tanner smell or icky orange between the fingers. I bought several tubes of this and plan to continue using it through the summer and into the fall. It's so much easier than self-tanner - why did it take so long for somebody to think of this?

I have very light skin that seems resistant to self-tanners. The medium version of this product gives me a very faint color after about 4 days of use. I have to use it daily to keep any color at all, but most tanners (even "instant dark tans") don't work at all, even if I stop shaving and only wash with water and no washcloth. Color is even and not streaky and the smell is good. I wish it wasn't mineral oil based. I can only use it on my legs without breaking out and I have to wear gloves because the oil damages my acrylic nails.

I have only used this product twice and boy do I see results! I have a nice natural tan, not orangey at all. I must say this is the best smelling of any tanning product I have used (and I have tried about 6 other brands). I look like I spent a week at the beach! The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is because it left a sticky feeling and did not completely dry. Maybe I am applying too much? It does not stain clothes. I bought a double pack with this and the "firming" version. Both are awesome! I will continue to buy.

I am fair skinned and got the 'medium to dark' version of this product and saw only the FAINEST of color - and it was uneven. The tops of my feet and stomach all got noticable color. My legs and arms just the barest hint of color and that is if you religiously use it every day. I won't buy this again as I have another self-tanner in the same price range with better results. But I might try thier self tanning and firming version.

I have used several self tanning products in the past and this one is right up there with the worst of them. I couldn't get even coverage no matter how hard I tried and the color did appear orange. Also, I bought this because one of the other reviews said the scent was nice. While the scent is pleasent when you first put it on, it smells strong of a self tanner within a few hours.

Both my husband and I tried 2 moisturizers. Hawaiian Tropic Island Glow Daily Moisturizer for Medium Skin Tones dries very quickly. The negative issues were during application it felt almost like a liquid and was not creamy enough. I was not impressed with the green tea scent on my skin, and when my husband tried it it was too feminine a scent on him. He said it made his skin sparkle, glow too much. I didn't use it when wearing light colored clothing because of the "may stain some materials" warning.

I have a light skin tone, and this product still worked! Previous products have given my skin an orangey tint, and were difficult to apply evenly around my knees and ankles. This lotion gradually builds color, so you don't have that problem. The smell is very light and pleasant, not nearly as heavy as the bronzers or accelerators you would use in a tanning bed. It's also great as a moisturizer, so you don't have to put on regular lotion, wait for that to dry, then put on your tanning lotion. It dries in less than thirty seconds too so you're not running around your house naked for half an hour praying your doorbell doesn't ring. This is an excellent product. I have several friends that use this, and I will never try any other self tanning lotion again.

When I read the wonderful reviews regarding this product, I purchased it right away! It sounded great. When I got it I started using it right away! A week went by, and nothing. Two weeks, still nothing! My sister used it and the same for her! It didn't turn me orange..but then again there was no color. The moisturizer didn't last all day, it took a long time to dry, and it did not give me a "natural glow of the islands". Hello..False Advertisement!! The only thing I liked about it was the green tea scent. Please trust me! This does not work!! It's a fake!!

If you have sensitive skin or are prone to breakouts, this is great! I use it on my very sensitive face and have had no problems. I would like a little darker result as far as color, (I am fair skinned), but I exfoliate every night so that could be why I am not seeing the "Island Glow" so much on my face. Works really well for color on my legs, though. Would recommend & will buy again.

I would give this 100 stars if I could...I've tried them all and this is the best one out there right now...the fact that it's dirt cheap is an extra added bonus! No weird scent, dries quickly and most importantly, the medium gives me natural-looking color in two applications (I have fairly light skin). I love love love this and agree that it's good to hoard it as it's difficult to find in the winter...Hawaiian Tropic better not ever discontinue this as it's serious holy grail material.
