not so good for me

Bottom Line: not recommended

well...I have to say it's not so good for me. It's REALLY thick, and you have to take a lot of time to rub it over. And I still get sunburn line though I don't wanna get tanned at all. However, the UVB protect is good, my skin didn't get red or hurt at all. But I'll try other brand next time.

i use this when i race sailboats, usually lasts all day unless i rub some off before it absorbs in. goes on white and absorbs clear which makes it easy to tell when you've missed a spot. don't use near your eyes if you are a contact lens wearer - will make your lenses filmy and your eyes burn.

I work as a lifeguard on the beach in the summer time. Whenever I enter the water I always make sure I reapply my sunscreen. This sunscreen is the only one I have used where you can actually see the water beading off your body (like a car that has just been waxed). I still reapply it anyway, but boy does it have holding power! I also used it a couple of years ago at Disney World in the hot summer sun. I remembered that I hadn't reapplied in about four hours. So I got the sunblock out and started applying it. The whole time I was looking at my skin, amazed that I hadn't burned at all after being in that 90 degree sun for so long with only one application. I am impressed with this sunscreen.

This is the best sunscreen I have ever used (and I have tried just about everything out there)! I work outside in Las Vegas summer heat and sun for 8+ hours a day. I am fair skinned and burn fairly easily but I never burn when I use this sunscreen- no other comes close. I also love the fact that this sunscreen is unscented. There is nothing worse than having to smell like coconuts or candy while working outside when it is 110 F outside. It isn't greasy, doesn't run, and doesn't stain your clothes. However, the bottle design is terrible (why not have it in a regular bottle?)

This product is so effective. Yes, the application was a tad bit difficult, partly due to the shape of this bottle, and the consistency of the lotion. A little bit hard to squeeze out, and very thick, so it took a lot of rubbing to spread it all over. But I was really, really happy with results! I have fair skin and prefer that. My goal is to not get any tan AT ALL. I've been in Maui now for 10 days and I still have no tan! Yes, people think I'm crazy for not wanting a tan but I don't care! It is also great for the kids because it isn't greasy at all. It really stays on and they didn't get all slippery and greasy.

I'm inclined to agree with the other reviews that the oddly shaped bottles are a bit of a pain to deal with, but as far as the lotion itself, it is fantastic. I spent a day at an amusement water park from 10 a.m. to almost 6 p.m., in August, in the Texas sun. Through splashing, heavy currents, water falls, heavily chlorinated water, and sweating, the product held up tremendously well. I was a little red when I arrived home that evening, but that was due to me not reapplying at all during the day. To be out 8 hours in the Texas sun and come home just a little red with only one application shows how well the product protects. So reapply and you won't have a problem. The product worked so well it convinced my best friend to switch from his SPF 30 sunscreen.

The product is very good, but the packaging disaster - first, silly idea with attaching "travel size" onto the main item, and then you need industrial strength fingers to get the stuff out; more squeeze-resistant bottle does not exist if not for packaging, I would give it 5 stars

This is an excellent sunscreen for the extremely sun sensitive. I am quite fair, and used this twice daily on a desert camping trip last summer. After 6 days in the sun, I had no burning or tanning, and barely any freckling. People we met on the trip were asking me how long we'd been out there, and didn't believe us because I had no signs of tanning at all. My only beef is that the "bonus travel size" makes it difficult to squeeze out the product from the main bottle. It would be better if they'd just packaged it in the normal Hawaiian Tropic bottle.
