Have literally tried every brand & type of baby/toddler sunscreen out there (Mustela, Baby Blanket, Bullfrog, Blue Lizard, etc etc) but none have equaled Hawaiian Tropic Baby Faces for effectiveness, gentleness, and ease of application. Some of the very effective & gentle formulas such as Mustela and Blue Lizard are also extremely thick and goopy. Don't even like having a bit of it on my hands let alone my poor kids having to wear it all over their bodies. In theory, the aerosol non-rub types of sunscreens should have been quick and easy but I quickly found that there was more greasy residue on my floor than on my child. Also, the visible and suffocating cloud of chemicals that is emitted by those types of sunscreens is something an adult can barely stand and simply cannot be good for kids. HTBF has a great trigger pump that eliminates needing to greasy up the tube to get the product out. The sunscreen itself smoothes over skin very quickly and becomes silky within seconds. This product has caused no adverse reaction with any of my three toddlers, perhaps due to the minimal chemical sunscreen formula. HTBF clearly has a good amount of physical sunscreens though as it has kept all my kids well protected whether running around at the park or a week at the beach. The best... buy this sunscreen!

This is the only product that I have found that doesn't cause my six year old son to break out in a rash. Even the "sensitive skin" products cause a rash on his skin. This product goes on easy and smells nice, so he doesn't complain too much when I apply it.

Used "Baby Faces" on face. Caused burning sensation, running eyes and nose within seconds. Due to the Parsol 1789. Couldn't wait to wash off. Test with small amount first.

Great product, it protects my skin without any greasy residue. Although, I'm in my early twenties, I find that this product works so well on my skin. Plus, the lack of some harsh chemicals makes this a very attractive buy. I will purchase this again. I love the lightly scented baby powder smell!

The scent was not a problem for me, and I am sensitive to scents in general, so not everyone will have a problem with that. I much prefer to have a spray lotion than to have to handle a bottle or tube with slippery hands. The grip on the bottle and handle makes it much easier to use. I find this much faster than a bottle or tube, as well. Also, I and two of my children have sensitive skin, so we just use this for the whole family. We've been very pleased.

Doesn't seem to irritate my skin, but the other reviewer is right...it doesn't so much spray as squirt. Also, the scent is very strong, sickly sweet, and doesn't fade. I tried to wash it off as soon as I put it on, and hours later it is still all I can smell. Good if you love "baby powder" scents, but if you are at all sensitive to scents, the stuff is an instant headache.

This sunscreen smells so good! Just like baby powder! I not only use it on my daughter, I use it on myself. My 3 year old gets eczema, so I'm always looking for something that won't irritate her skin. This stuff is great for sensitive skin.

I am very dissappointed with this packaging. It sprays, yes, but it sprays out a LOTION which is thick and has to be rubbed in by hand. It is no better than a lotion in a tube or bottle. I thought this would spray like an atomizer - a fine mist, such as Clinique sunblock sprays.
