Indications

Helps restore and maintain regularity and relieve constipation. This product generally produces bowel movement in 12 to 72 hours.

Drug Interaction Precautions

Contains calcium. If you are taking any form of tetracycline antibiotic, Fibercon should be taken at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after you have taken the antibiotic.

Warnings

Do not us laxative products when abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting are present unless directed by a doctor. If you have noticed a sudden change in bowel habits that persists over a period of 2 weeks, consult a doctor before using a laxative. Laxative products should not be used for a period longer than 1 week unless directed by a doctor. Rectal bleeding or failure to have a bowel movement after use of a laxative may indicate a serious condition. Discontinue use and consult you doctor. Taking this product without adequate fluid may cause it to swell and may cause choking. Do not take this product if you have difficulty in swallowing. If you experience chest pain, vomiting, or difficulty in swallowing or breathing after taking this product, seek immediate medical attention. Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children. In case of accidental overdose, seek professional assistance or contact a poison control center immediately.
