Similac DF (Diarrhea Formulation) may be specified by your doctor when your infant older than 6 months or toddler has diarrhea. Similac DF is nutritionally complete, milk-free, special fiber formula designed to shorten the duration of diarrhea. Feed Pedialyte® Oral Electrolyte Maintenance Solution for hydration during the first 24 to 48 hours of diarrhea and begin feeding Isomil DF at the direction of your doctor. Your doctor may recommend Isomil® Advance® Soy Formula with Iron for milk-feed feeding after diarrhea has stopped.

Filled by volume to 1 Quart. Extra space in bottle allows for shaking and easy pouring.

Warnings

Contains soy ingredients. Contains no dairy ingredients. Manufactured on dairy equipment. Do not use this container to warm formula. Never use a microwave oven to warm formula. Serious burns can result. Do not use if Similac Band around cap or inner foil seal is missing or broken. Similac Isomil DF should not be fed to infants and toddlers with constipation.

Lifesaver! Was tasked with collecting stool samples for doctor and with the condition of my daughters diarrhrea it was almost impossible, after 3 feedings her stool became firm enough to collect after almost 2 weeks of nonstop liquid diarrhea.
Worked when after switching to soy formula was not enough.

This stuff is a lifesaver when your baby has severe diarrhea and can't eat the normal formula because of the risk of making diarrhea worse. All three of my kids had to use this at one time or another--and it WORKS!!!!! Just a few days of this stuff, and it's back to normal formula/milk.

Ready to feed. Do not add water.

Use as directed by physician.

Your baby's health depends on carefully following these easy directions. Ask your baby's doctor if you need to boil (sterilize) the empty bottles before adding formula.

Shake bottle very well before opening.
Pour formula into bottle or cup. After feeding, throw away any formula remaining in bottle or cup.

Storage: Recap container and prepared bottles immediately. Store in refrigerator and use within 72 hours. Store unopened cans at room temperature; avoid extreme temperatures. Do not reuse container.
