As a sufferer of adult acne for over 20 years (I'm 47 now) I have been very pleased with this, and quite SURPRISINGLY so. I almost always have problems with new acne fighting products! They may help reduce my acne but they also either irritate, sting, dry out or over moisterize (oily) my skin and can cause red patches, etc. This product is wonderfully light (so much so you're not sure if it is any good), spreads easily and has stopped my acne breakouts almost completely. I wasn't even looking for an improvement really and within days wondered why on earth I hadn't been breaking out hardly and then duh... realized it was the Boscia. The bonus is how it doesn't make my face feel or look oily or heavily moisterized. It's a very clean feeling. Also,what I especially DIDN'T expect was how it clears up blackheads as well! That's a bonus for me. I have ABSOLUTELY NO negative side effects, dryness, flakiness, irritation etc etc. I have been most unexpectedly thrilled over this product.

I have VERY sensitive skin. Almost every acne product I have ever tried has irritated my skin, causing rash and peeling. I use this product on my t-zone to clear mild acne and prevent breakouts. It has a natural salicylic acid which is much more gentle than any other I've tried. I have experienced no irritation with this product and my face has been pretty clear since I began using it. I also notice that if I do get a blemish, it goes away very quickly. I LOVE this product! (Love it so much I've begun using their other products too and have had a very positive experience with them too!) This is a great line for very sensitive skin!

I have normal/combination skin with rosacea flare ups. This product is super gentle. It stopped all the rosacea breakouts. After using it I do not need a moisterizer. It exfoliates, soothes irritated & inflamed skin and hydrates all in one step. It helps with uneven texture & tightens pores. Most of all it doesn't have a scent like most products do. I highly recommend it. Great product.

This has been a great product for me. I have dry, sensitive skin and although I am in my late 30's, I can have mild monthly breakouts in certain areas. Using this product on a regular basis has cleared that up, and even works on the skin before a pimple develops. I will not go without this product. It's so gentle and clean, it's just right!

First let me say that I have never reviewed a product before, but was compelled to do so after using Boscia's Willow Bark Breakout Treatment. I originally got it as a sample. I decided to buy it because I am trying to use more natural products, but did not expect it to be all that effective. I thought I would use it in the mornings and use my "heavy hitter" acne products at night. Right after I got the product, I ran out of my other acne products, so I was just using the willow bark. To my surprise, not only did my skin completely clear up, but the texture was so good that I did not have to use an exfoliant anymore. My skin looks better than it has in years! I love that I no longer have to use harsh products on my skin anymore. What I great find!

I have sensitive skin and use this gel nightly before bed on my T-zone whether I have a blemish or not. It doesn't dry out my skin at all. Smells nice too. Before using this, I would get pimples and blackheads all the time on my forehead and chin. Now, the only time I might get anything is just before my period, and then I only get maybe 1 tiny pimple on my chin. Love this stuff!

I'm using this product as a replacement for sacicylic acid acne treatments. I like that it is natural and doesn't contain a lot of toxins, except that it barely works. I expect more for this amount of money. I'll be trying Juice Beauty's acne serum next..

I have been using this underneath my oil free Boscia moisturizer as directed for the past few days. My oil production has already reduced significantly, but I imagine that the other Boscia products (toner, cleanser, facial scrub, & mask) are helping with this. My complexion is already looking better and feeling less irritated. All this time I could¿ve experiencing irritation to the preservatives. I am thankful the Bosica line and will continue to try their different products. (Preservative free is a wonderfult thing!)

I use this product to prevent break out and to treat blimshes and it works well for both defenses. It is very mild and does not dry the skin or promote redness. I use all over my trouble areas daily in the morning and use more of it on a spot. It lasts awhile and is good buy. Definately recommend this product.

I have had moderate acne every day of my life since I was 7 years-old, and this product was just OK for me. It certainly did not stop many of my pimples but helped a little. Although I have oily skin, I like that this product did not dry out my skin.
