I am by no means overweight. I have a healthy BMI of 22. I am 5'4" and weigh roughly 115lbs. I started using this product about 3 years ago before a major vacation at which I wanted to look my best. I am naturally athletic being a gymnast most of my young life. I started off taking just 1 pill 3x's a day - which gave me very slight 'jumpiness'. It can be a bit bothersome at first but once your body adjusts after a few days - you don't even realize it at all. I took the 1 pill 3x's a day for about 3-4 days and then slowly changed it to 2 pills 3x's a day. Along with taking the pills I worked out and ate less. I probably did a full hour or more of exercise and boy, does it help! If you plan on just taking these pills and just sitting around sure you might feel dizzy and such because you aren't using them CORRECTLY. Take these about hald an hour BEFORE you plan on working out and they will have kicked in by the time you do. They rev up your work out and if you are working out properly, you get a bit winded anyway. Once you are done working out you won't feel any effects of these pills, at least I didn't because you've used their boost the way they intended. Once your body is used to these you can take them regularly without any problems. Now, I am down to just taking them maybe once or twice a day, just for energy. I only use these to maintain my weight because I do enjoy eating like a truck driver and sometimes I am too tired to work out. All in all, I really like these. My sister takes 'Redline' and that is her go to and she wouldn't switch to anything else - she is a bigger gal. So maybe if you didnt like this you will like that?

This is the product that I go to when I need a boost. I also don't take the product after 5pm so that I can sleep but it does kick my appetite and boost my weight loss results.

I had plateaued with the diet and exercise to lose some weight, and changing both those routines was not helpful. I was hoping that this might give me a little "boost" to get things going again. Within a few hours of taking one of these I couldn't breathe, my head was pounding, my blood pressure was really high, and I was light-headed and feeling faint. I'm not caffeine sensitive, so I'm not sure what was going on. Nonetheless, I ended up praying I wouldn't stroke out and kill someone while driving home, managed to make it home alive, and needed 20 mg of diazepam to get the blood pressure down. What a life affirming experience. Anyway, I'll just stay on my plateau. At least it won't kill me.

If you want to waste your money and see no results then buy this product and anything else from Muscle Tech. All you are paying for is their advertising costs. None of their stuff works and I have tried them all (Creatine, Hydroxycut, Protein Powder, etc.) If you want a fat loss product try Lipo 6 and my all time favorite Redline by VPS sports. Very good product that works.

I disagree with the other comments. This product has given me more energy, less of an appetite and I even feel the need to go to bed earlier. I do only take 4 per day instead of 6. 2 in the morning and 2 early afternoon. Taking the product before dinner kept me awake longer. I do live in the Caribbean and the sun here drains a lot of energy from you but Hydroxycut has given me the energy to go all day.

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because I don't think I've been on it long enough! I've been on it for a week and I've already lost 2 lbs, and I'm now on the last holes on my belts! I really want to point out that I do work out 3-5 times a week, and really watch what I eat, so WITH DIET AND EXERCISE it works. This doesn't make me feel sick or jittery which is nice, it really does help curb appetite, and I find that I don't want to snack as much, which is my downfall. I like that it is caffeine-free and has no stimulants. It really does work, and I can't wait to see more results!

I have used several products, and highly recommend Hydroxycut. I had my second child in October and had about 50 pounds to lose when I started taking this at the end of December. After taking Hydroxycut, working out 1-2 hours per day, and being aware of my dieting habits, I have only about 5-7 pounds to lose. I will say that my system is not extremely sensitive and I tend to gravitate towards stronger products that really help kick me into high gear before a workout. This product provided me that kick of extra energy and I believe it helped to curb my appetite, although it did not eliminate my appetite entirely. Overall, a great product!!!
