I tried to find something better than this, really I did. I HATE the Headblade branding, still back in circa 1994 when shaving your head was subversive and cool. And I hate their packaging, now that I'm no longer living in a college dorm. So I was motivated to find something better. I went to the expensive brands, the cool apothecary-styled packaging, the local DIY farmer's market preparations. But NOTHING is better than this shave cream. Seriously. It's so slick, so clingy, so utterly perfect that I forgive everything else. (But seriously, Headlblade guys: please update your look!)

This is great shaving cream. It's mentholated, but the smell isn't overpowering. My partner uses it to shave his bald head, and now I use it to shave my face. The blade seems to glide nicely through the cream. (Note: I shave in the shower, so I can't say whether this shave cream is sloppier to use than a foam out of a can)

I like this product but think it is on the expensive side. I do not get the number of shaves indicaated on bottle. The menthol is a little strong - wish they made non menthol.

I purchaed this shave cream for my partner for his bald head. Turns out, it's great for faces too!
I love the mentholated feeling and how slick my razor glides across my face. I get a great, close shave really fast!

I've been using this stuff for a couple of years now, and I have not strayed. Their headblade shaver is awful and I always shredded my scalp with it, but this stuff is fantastic. The richness of the ingredients combined with the non foamy delivery is exactly what I want. I put a couple drops (yes DROPS) on a wet shaving brush and it works into a wonderful lather - enough for TWO passes over my face and scalp. I shave in the shower so drying has never been an issue. Try it. Get a shower mirror. One bottle lasts months and months using the brush and the quality of the shave is outstanding. My beard grows every which way and is really difficult to get smooth. This product combined with a 4- or 5-blade shaver does the trick. My only wish is that the formula contained Frankincense essential oil. I add a couple drops on my own. Frankincense repairs DNA and keeps constantly shaved skin from getting wrinkly, dry and beat up. It aids in healing. Try it.

I don't use it shave my head, I only use it to shave my face. My friend suggested I try this stuff out because despite the higher price, it lasts twice as long and is twice as awesome as other shave creams. After your done shaving it leaves and amazing cooling sensation that isn't overpowering, just really pleasant. Rinses off the razor easily which is a huge plus over some other products I've used. You should buy this.

Bought for my husband. He says he'll never use anything else. Loves the HeadBlade products. Really close shave, no ingrowns, leaves skin very conditioned.

yep, boys, the secret's out. i am a woman and i use this stuff. it is FANTASTIC! nice smooth, CLOSE shave. and, as long as you use a good razor, no razor burn. i like the mentholated tingle, too. :) i am so glad drugstore.com started carrying this product. i refuse to use any other shaving cream... even the ones made for ladies. if my hubby is nice, i might even share it with HIM. lol.
