This does nothing more then add shine or gloss to you lips. It is VERY shiny but it doesn't heal chapped lips at all, and you have to re-apply it constantly, it doesn't stay on at all.

It has a soothing minty flavor , like you just brushed your teeth and I love the metal ball. It protected my lips from the sun. It goes on very wet and shiny and then absorbs into your lips. The shine is not long lasting, but the product itself seems to moisturize your lips and the sunscreen works well.

The taste made me so nauseous that I had to throw it away. It was watery and completely ineffective. I had tried it once before when it first came on the market and it didn't have that taste before. It used to be slightly sheer like a lipgloss, but not anymore. I believe the manufacturer changed the formula slightly and added a fragrance.

I think this works great for really irritated chapped lips. It does the job immediately and relieves my lips. I would us regular lip balms and chapsticks, but none of them would give instant relief like the lip infusion. I guess if you are looking for protection in the long run, it won't work too well but again the instant relief is AMAZING. It makes my lips look so glossy and I actually enjoy applying this. I think for the price, it does the job well.

This product has an instant cooling effect when applied. The applicator is a metal ball (instead of the usual plastic) which feels cold and, therefore, soothes burning, dry, chapped lips upon contact...aaahhh, relief. I agree with other reviewers, though. IT DOES NOT LAST. It is great for soothing, and the cherry flavor is pretty good; however, I reapply it quite frequently. I cannot see this product as being able to protect lips from the winter elements -- or the sun -- since it does not last. This is great for providing instant relief, but do not count on it to protect your lips from the cold, dry air. For lip protectant, nothing beats good, old-fashioned petroleum jelly or some derivatives therefrom (like those found in Chapstick).

I guess it could be used as a lip "gloss" - if the gloss lasted that would be even better but it doesn't. I guess the cool metal roller ball sucked a lot of consumers in but the product is not very impressive. Someone else hit the nail on the head by saying it's like putting flavored baby oil on your lips. I won't buy again. I only use it when I can't find any other lip balm. When that happens I'm disappointed and continue looking in pockets, purses and drawers for something else. I prefer gross Vaseline to this.

I used this product, this weekend on the lake to help protect my lips from getting sunburn, big mistake, my lips fried, had to go to doctor get shots, my lips swelled so bad and then big blisters, had to miss work and all, wish someone one would pay my doc bill, and my loss of work, will never use again. I took it out to an air show with me because it said it had SPF. I ended up with horribly sunburned lips because this stuff kept wearing off so quickly. It hardly lasted two minutes and that is not an exaggeration. Then I used it after my lips were burned, thinking that the wind was just too much for it at the show, but it dried my lips out even more. I went from just burned lips, to cracked burned lips. I am throwing the rest of this tube out.

This stuff is horrible. It goes on too wet. Makes your lips look greasy, like you've just applied oil to your lips. I thought it was supposed to help my dry chapped lips, but it only made it worst. Do not use this stuff if you want to heal your chapped lips. It doesn't even last long. I gave this a chance for a week but ended up throwing it away. I recommend Chapstick Naturals, that's the only thing that has worked for me.
