Love the violet color

I bought this eyeliner pencil because I loved the violet color of Lush. It's hard to find a bold violet/purple color in a good makeup product. I had a Lancome eyeliner pencil in Violene but the color was discontinued. This is the closest color in an eyeliner. The one negative is that it smudges. The tip is soft. You have to be careful when sharpening.

And I mean, ALL DAY LONG. So many others fade away after a few hours. I've had compliments on it too. I want to get a couple other darker colors to "match" to my daily "costumes".It's the sort of staple I do not want to be without, until I'm like totally doddering 80 yr old crazy women. :-)

I absolutely love Urban Decay Eyeliner! I'm a new fan of their products. Eyeliner for me, always smudges in a few hours (on the bottom), and then it looks terrible. I applied this eyeliner this morning, around 6am, and it is still perfect at 9pm! I'm buying many colors, because I love using bright colors! Soon, I will have every color!

I also have this in Zero, but I like Lust so much more. Zero is so black and intense, that it can make your eye makeup seem garish some times. But with Lust, it gives an intense shot of color that isn't overpowering. I have brown eyes and this shade really frames them well. I also have 1999, which I was really disappointed with (I thought the purple in it would be more like Lust, but it's a really dull shade of purple). The best thing about this shade is that it's bright purple eyeliner that when applied somehow doesn't scream 'I'm wearing purple eyeliner!!' It;s stylish without being too 'teeny bopper.'
