great product for sensitive skin

I used Cetaphil for years, and although it was great for my sensitive skin, I also gradually realized that it was drying. Everyone I know who works in the beauty field swears by the integrity of Aveeno products, so I switched to this cleanser a little over 6 months ago. It's great. The cleanser has a pleasing foam once you add water; the bottle lasts a very long time, and it leaves my skin feeling clean but not dry. It rinses off well, doesn't feel like it's throwing off my skin's chemistry...would highly recommend to someone with dry, sensitive skin who may need to venture off the Cetaphil path.

I've been using this product for over a week and so far I am satisfied with the results. Some of my skin discolorations from acne scars have lightened and my skin appears brighter and smooth. This moisturizer is oil-free, which is great b/c I have oily, acne prone skin, so it doesn't exacerbate this problem. I use it in the morning and appreciate the SPF protection. The moisturizer is thick, but absorbs quickly into the skin. I use about two pumps for my entire face. Prior to buying this product, I tried Clarins Brightening Lotion SPF 20, which cost over $50 and was disappointed in the results. Compared to Clarins or the other department store brands, this product rivals them.

I use Aveeno Active Naturals Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer, SPF 30 on the backs of my hands to screen out UV light. However, if I apply it liberally, my husbands complains that I'm wearing too much "perfume." And, if I get in on my fingertips, it smears the print of any magazine that I may be reading.

Won't leave home without it!

I have used this product for at least three years, and I just love it. It leaves my skin silky, and definitely lightened up some discoloration. It keeps getting selected by magazines as a reader favorite, and I hope they make it forever. I don't break out when I use it, and it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin.

I was so happy with this and really DID see an improvement in my skin tone after just a couple days, BUT THEN THE ITCHING STARTED!!! This product is the only new thing on my skin. I feel like my arms and legs are burning. This purchase was a splurge for me and now I have to throw it in the trash. (I also have to drink gallons of water and try and flush it from my system.)

I used to use the SPF version of this and then switched to this one. It is a little bit lighter than the other lotion and soaks up better into my skin. Better for hot summer months. I use the other version in winter. I have not broken out with any blemishes or allergic reactions. My skin has a nice glow to it and I get compliments on it even without wearing a bunch of makeup.

I've used this product for many months and never had any difficulty. Since I have combination skin and dont like the feel of traditional suntan lotion, I was skeptical of this product. However, I love Aveeno and have rarely been disappointed with their line of products. Typically, I will apply the product as I'm getting ready for work under makeup or before going out to do daily activities around town. It's smooth, not greasy and just an all around easy product to use.

I used this product after I cleansed my face in the shower because I have fair skin and need protection from the sun. Also I have combination skin. It is very greasy and leaves residue, also it made my dry areas worse! It just sits on your face. And now my skin is irritated and breaking out ever since using this.... Switching to Eucerin. I do not recommend this! Aveeno really messed up here.

This isn't a "bad" product, just over-priced and over-rated. As a moisturizer/sunblock it's fine, but the advertised cosmetic benifits were non-existant for me! My skin didn't look ANY smoother or more even-toned, even with regular use. It does have a nice matt finish, but so does Banana Boat "Sun Wear", which has higher SPF, and costs a fraction of the price.
