this base coat goes on smooth, lasts a long time and also makes the nail polish last longer. looks great worn alone also, and it feels gentle and nourishing on the nails

This works so much better than anything else I've tried. It's amazing. For some reason, in the last few years my nails were always breaking and chipping. I couldn't get them to grow and nothing I bought in the regular retail stores worked. In just a few weeks of using essie products I have nails again. It's easy to use and has really made a difference. I use the base coat, the polish and the top coat. They work great together and make my nails stronger than they've been in years.

I credit this one product with completely improving my horrible nail situation. The protein treatment looks great on its own, with just a little clear topcoat over it. When I use it as a base, it's smooth with no bubbles or problems. It's all I use on my toenails, too, and the difference it has in the condition and appearance of my nails is nothing short of miraculous.

This stuff is fantastic! It lasts forever and just one coat makes nails look perfectly buffed and healthy. I've had manicurists complement my nails and ask what I use! It's a beautiful sheer cream if you use two coats and after just one coat nails look amazing. I wear this all by itself!
