A painless way to add necessary fiber to the diet with just one spoonful of Metamucil and a couple of glasses of water, with no unwanted flavor,( unless you choose a flavor.) Easier than eating whole bowls of fiber-type cereals.

This product is infinitely more palatable than pure Psyllium. A quick read of the ingredients lists sucrose, and the "Supplement Facts" chart shows 3g of sugars per 7g serving. So, this isn't pure Psyllium. We find the cloying orange flavor some types use too much. Bottom line: This works well, and read the label before purchasing!

this stuff claims to be unflavored, but is full of sucrose to make it sweet! psyllium husks are not sweet + this stuff is sweet = this stuff is flavored. i personally find it disgusting and will be tossing it (or giving it to a friend who doesn't mind its being sickeningly sweet) and getting myself a can of real, pure psyllium husks.

Fiber Directions:

Adults and children 12 years & older: 1 rounded teaspoonful in 8 oz of liquid 3 times daily.
