Good product but...by haP in IL on 5/24/09Pros: Moisturizing, Pleasant Smell Cons: Too oily Best Uses: Baths, Showers Bottom Line: not recommended Loved the scent & made my skin feel soft after one use. Did not have to apply any lotion. Sugar scrub melted faster than I'd expected.
My only (& major) complaint was that it made the entire bath tub & fixtures soooo greasy.
I have a disability and need to use a chair inside the shower room. After washing away the product from my body, the chair & tub become too oily so that the chair kept sliding. Had to clean the tub immediately :(
For those who say it ...by priscila in Breckenridge, CO on 5/26/08For those who say it doesn't exfoliate well: try applying it on dry, not damp, skin. I use it before getting in the shower, so it DOES EXFOLIATE and leaves my skin very soft - besides, when you wash it off, the oily feeling goes away. My dermatologist in Brazil recommended this scrub and I swear by it - every time I have the chance I have someone bring it to me in Brazil!
I love this sugar scrub. ...by Teresa in Midlothian, VA on 4/28/08I love this sugar scrub. If you are used to and like the salt scrubs this may not be for you. It is milder and not as harsh as a salt scrub. I love it. It doesn't burn my skin and gently exfoliates. The scent is pure heaven and it moisturizes great!! I will be a lifelong fan.
I LOVE this product!!! I ...by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 2/7/08I LOVE this product!!! I have used a few scrubs in the past and they felt so greasy and left my skin yucky too, but this scrub does its job so well! I love the citrus scent. My skiing feels like a baby skin after I get out of the shower and it does not leave any greasy feeling, but just the right amount of moisturization.
I love the scent, but I ...by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 1/25/08I love the scent, but I didn't think it exfoliated well. It is oily, but it did not help my dry skin. I don't expect to buy it again.
I bought the Neutrogena ...by Ashley in Undisclosed on 1/18/08I bought the Neutrogena body scrub because I was running low on my Inspire brand one, and I was disappointed with it! I guess it was unfair to think it would be similar to one I already loved. I noticed that there were barely any scrub crystals and it was quite unlike the picture in the ad. It was mostly just oily and solidified, but it was ok at healing dry skin because it, well, just looked like a hunk of chicken fat, and worse, the scent reminded me of Chinese orange chicken. The inspire scrub smells awesome, while the Neutrogena one makes me smell like food. So I guess one gets what they pay for, but I know there are better scrubs at the Body Shop that are in that price range. Well the ad made me want to try it, but obviously the product wasn't for me. But I have to say, it may work better for others, and if you love the scent then it would definitely be a product to add to your shower. Plus, you don't need to put on lotion after
I was hesitant to try ...by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 12/12/07I was hesitant to try this because of some poor reviews, but I couldn't help myself. I was then pleasantly surprised! I think this scrub is great. I don't find it oily in a bad way; it leaves your skin feeling like baby oil does (except not as greasy). Plus, the "oily" feeling goes away shortly after your skin dries. I think it's great for dry skin, especially in winter.
I found this product very ...by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 11/21/07I found this product very greasy and too oily. It has a nice citrus scent. I didn't think it exfoliated that well. Wont purchase again.
I swear by this stuff. I ...by Emily in Philadelphia, PA on 10/25/07I swear by this stuff. I disagree about it being too greasy. I actually like it because it leaves my skin really soft with a dew-like glow. If you tend to have dry skin, especially in the winter, it is such a treat!
Didn't care for this ...by Cindy in Beaverton, OR on 6/11/07Didn't care for this scrub at all. It was so greasy, I had to wash my skin twice to get the gunky, oily film off. Okay as far as exfoliating. but not great. Smells good though.

In the shower or bath, massage over damp skin, concentrating on especially rough or dry areas such as knees or elbows. Rinse off once sugar crystals have dissolved. Replace cap promptly to avoid excess water in jar. |
