I am allergic to all perfumes. I get sick just walking around the neighborhood when other people's dryers are spewing out perfumed fabric softener sheets. I am so grateful to have found this totally unscented product! It has made all the difference for me. And it actually does soften clothes . Wish I could convince all of my neighbors to use it. And the rest of the world too. I am sickened by the smell of dryer sheets on people's clothes.
My husband takes many medications and is very sensitive to chemicals on anything htat touches his skin. This product has no dyes and no aromas to complicate things.
I use this in the laundry to soften my clothes and bedding. (I don't use it on towels -- softeners generally make them soft, but less absorbent. My personal preference is absorbent.) I'm chemically sensitive, so fragrances are hazardous for me. I'm very happy that a conventional and effective product is available without fragrance!

First and foremost this product is concentrated for he washers. It is truly a scent free softener. No fabric softener has done such a super job on my laundry. The coupon and free shipping really add to the attractiveness of this product. I have recommended it to several friends and intend to continue using it myself.
Use cap to measure: Fill to solid line, or for extra softness, fill to upper line. Add to the Downy® Ball, machine dispenser, or final rinse.
Used as directed, Ultra Downy is safe for all washable fabrics. If spotting occurs, wet fabric and rub with mild bar soap, rinse or rewash. Do not dilute with water and store. Do not refill bottle with other liquids or beverages. If product freezes or thickens, dissolve a capful in small jar of water. Shake well before use.
