This product is ok. It does soften because it's downy after-all, but the scent disappears after drying your clothes. On several websites people were raving about the scent of this product and that's why I bought it, but it only smells good in the cap and after that, you wont smell it anymore. I don't know if it makes a difference that I'm using an older traditional washer or not.

If you like subtle scented clothing then this is perfect for you. I was hoping for something a little more strong though.

Have loved this particular Downy fab softener (Mtn Spring) for more than 20 years! It's getting very difficult to find it elsewhere. I usually order 3-4 large bottles.

Use cap to measure: Fill to solid line, or for extra softness, fill to upper line. Add to the Downy® Ball, machine dispenser, or final rinse.

Used as directed, Ultra Downy is safe for all washable fabrics. If spotting occurs, wet fabric and rub with mild bar soap, rinse or rewash. Do not dilute with water and store. Do not refill bottle with other liquids or beverages. If product freezes or thickens, dissolve a capful in small jar of water. Shake well before use.
