I have 4 rescue Brittany Spaniels. Our latest boy pees in the hallway -- then my other male decided he had to keep up. While we're working on their behavior, using the swiffer system has kept me sane -- I spray a urine neutralizer first, and then a few minutes later I take my Swiffer system out and with a few sprays (2 to 3 minutes), the hallway is like new. I tried using my regular natural cleaners, but they couldn't cut through the salts.
Yes, a bit pricey, but worth the work it saves my older body and my precious time. I don't get mad at the dogs. Plus, it smells great and almost no work -- and the dirty pad gets thrown out.

The idea behind the Swiffer Wet Jet Cleaner is a good one,for it is super easy to use. Another plus is that you do not always have to haul out the mop and bucket. After awhile though you will need to mop anyway as this cleaner tends to leave a residue on the floor. Additionally, if you are sensitive to scents/odors this is not the product for you. Its smell remains in the air for a very, very long time...(even with opened windows). I find it to be way too strong. Had not for these two issues (the strong smell and tendency to leave residue) it still does the job. I would recommend this floor cleaner with the caveat that the odor can be overpowering for someone who is sensitive.

I have tile floors. This product gets my floors clean. This is so much better than a mop that stays dirty. I have to use a lot of it but it is still cheaper than a maid.
