I ended up donating this to the Salvation Army without ever having used it. The directions were inadequate and operation of the dryer was a hassle. Poorly designed product. Definitely NOT recommended!

This hair dryer was all that I expected and very reasonable. It is a little noisy but that is to be expected. Many years ago I had a Schick dryer and this is close to that one which I used happily for many years.

Now I don't have to go around the house with rollers on my hair, but get dried in an hour under Conair while reading or working on my computer. My long and thick hair looks great after having been rolled and dried under the bonet of this drier; and the ends, which tend to get damaged with other drying methods, keep protected well away from excessive heat, in the rollers. Great time saving device, and of $, too. Although I should point out that the first time I used the drier, it took me a while to find out how to set-up the movable piece of the bonet properly, since I couldn't find detailed instructions.

This hairdryer is great! It's about as noisy as the salon dryers, but it drys so quickly, light weight and compact. It's just what I'd been looking for! My hair is very thick and I always liked the way it came out when I would use rollers and sit under a hair dryer. I used to have a Sunbeam bonnet dryer many, many years ago, and they are hard to find. I figured I would give this Conair a try and I am so glad I did. The price is reasonable and my hair has never been nicer. No frizzes, no fly aways, just smooth, silky hair! It would even travel well, if you're going on a week or longer trip. It's light weight enough for a trip and folds down nice and compact when not in use. The other plus is that you can still sit under it with Jumbo rollers and the height is adjustable, so it really doesn't matter as to the height of your table or chair. It adjusts extremely easy! I highly recommend this dryer!
