I BOUGHT THIS THINKING IT WOULD HELP WITH FRIZZ AND DRYING OUT MY HAIR, PLUS, I LOVED THE IDEA OF A RETRACTABLE CORD..BOY, WAS I WONG, FIRST, ONCE YOU PULL THE CORD OUT--IT NEVER GOES BACK IN, NEXT, EVEN ON THE LOW SETTING IT IS WAY TO HOT AND BURNS YOUR HAIR, AND MAKES TONS OF FRIZZ..UGH, I HAD MY OLD CONAIR 1875 BLOWDRYER FOR OVER 23 YEARS AND IT GAVE OUT--I GUESS THEY DON'T MAKE GREAT BLOW-DRYERS LIKE THEY USE TO..THIS ONE IS HORRID.

I read lots of products' reviews before I chose purchasing this model. I have another Conair's blow-dryer for years with ionic feature as well. This new one is not as heavy as some reviews describe, but it's kinda loud - even in the "low" mode. I don't need a fancy blow-dryer so I had decided not to spend too much in the very beginning, less than $50. The product "accomplishes" its' primary purpose.

I like the adjustable tempature settings. It is heavy and forget about the retractable cord...once I pulled the cord out it was out to stay.

I like this dryer but the retractable cord is stuck in "retract mode." I just put it down once on the side with the retract button and it can't seem to stop retracting. Also cord is too short and I'm not tall. I've tried to take it apart and have a look at it but I can't seem to get it completely apart. Too bad, I'm now shopping for new hair dryer again.

Terrible dryer!!! It is very heavy and takes a long time to dry my hair. The cord is hard to retract, and the plug will whip you in the hand once it gets going. I was excited to try this well priced dryer since it was tourmaline/ionic, but my old 1875 watt worked better. Don't waste your money on this one, mine is now in the basement for my next garage sale!

This hairdryer is great, dries my hair very fast & prevents frizz & the diffuser that comes with it is great too. The hairdryer that I used before this one was the Conair Ionic & that worked pretty well too but for some reason I like this one better. I agree that this dryer is a bit heavier than other dryers I've used but that could just be due to all the cord work being inside the dryer? Aside from that I think it works great & I give it A+ 5 stars!

This is a decent hair dryer, but very big and bulky. I've gotten just as much power out of much more compact hair dryers. The retractable cord is OK, but I don't find I really need that feature.

I've had this hairdryer for a couple of months and have to say it has been a good purchase. I have short hair that I don't have to do much to it but the way I style my hair I do need a diffuser. It is a little heavier than most dryers, but for the price it can't be beat. Add to that it has a retractable cord, which is a plus, but as in previous posts; do be careful when retracting it. I appreciate the other positive posts; it helped me make my decision to purchase. For the price it is a very good hairdryer!

I only dry my hair occasionally, maybe 2 times a month, but I decided to go ahead and get a decent hair dryer. This has been a great hair dryer so far. I have a small bathroom, so the retractable cord is much appreciated. It works fast and leaves my hair smooth and shiny. Can't beat it for the price, it's awesome :-)
