I think this wax is a great value. I had been using the Sally Hansen wax strips for my eyebrows and I didn't know what I was missing until I tried Surgi Wax. As another reviewer said, the key to avoid the mess is to apply a thinner layer of the wax. If your application is too thick, the wax will come apart like goo when you try to rip it off.

I swear this is the only product that does the job right! But there are couple of tricks with this stuff -- I have a 1000 watt microwave, and I have to go a little longer than suggested to get it to melt, but keep in mind, microwaves cook from the inside out, so even if it doesn't look like it's melted, if you stab through the wax, it's too hot on the bottom. Mix the "hot" and the "not" together, and voila-- perfect temp. It used to make me break out a bit too, but if you wash your face with a good cleanser, it will not only remove residue, but will make a break-out less likely. I find this stuff better than salon grade, and I've been waxing for 15 years.

This product is very easy to use and requires no messy muslin strips. I waxed small areas about 1 cm long and 1/2 cm wide at a time; I have no problem at all. I wish it came in a bigger package though, because the container is like a little toy mug.

I have been using this product for years and LOVE it. This is perfect for eyebrows or other wax areas. If you want to do lots of area --- get the Brazilian for body -- It's a big bottle. This is perfect!

I was so thankful when I finally found this product. I have never had anything work as well at removing my upperlip and eyebrow hair. It did take a bit of getting used to when applying but after I got the hang of it everything was fine. I do find that I have to also heat it up longer then the package says but that isn't an issue. I wish more came in the container as others have mentioned that the size was larger before. If your getting this product all over your hands and face, you probably need to slow down and make sure to use the spatula as it is intended to be used. A little goes a long way. Great product, I will and do recommend to others.

I am a first time "do it myself" waxer and I am very pleased with this product. I can't believe how easy this was to use and it took all the little fine hairs off that I can't seem to get off with professional wax. I like it!!! I gave it 4 stars because you have to work quickly because the wax hardens fast in the container. Otherwise, I LOVE IT.

This product was very messy and the wax got very clumpy in the jar. No matter how much I microwaved I could not melt the clumps of wax around the top of the bottle. Felt like I wasted a lot of the wax and eventually threw the whole thing in the garbage. Left a lot of residue on my skin too. Eventually removed my hair but what a mess. I'll be trying the wax strips and hope they are neater. Would not buy this product again.

This is a great product. The wax hair remover for the face really works on fine hairs. It saves me time removing the excess fine hairs on my face with this Surgi wax product than plucking each one with a tweezer. And the wax is easy to remove. Just allow it to cool until pliable but not sticky. Then remove the wax in the opposite direction of hair growth. I'm really pleased with this product.

I've used this for years, it is great, but as others have pointed out, it's a little sticky and the residue is hard to remove. HINT: rub the wax with an ice cube after you apply it to your face; speeds up the hardening of the wax, there's less mess and it's easier and painless to remove, even those tiny stubborn hairs.
