I've never written a review, but you should be warned about this product! I used the old surgi-wax for the face for years, which worked better than most products on my sensitive skin. This "new and improved" version is more cream like, it removes hair ok, but will leave your skin red and broken out!! The entire side of my face is red with big red bumps all over, and normally I have clear skin! The amount of fragrance they've added is ridiculous, and as other reviewers have mentioned it is quite messy... don't know why they had to go mess with a good thing.

I've used Surgi Wax for Face for many years and never had a problem... until I ran out and picked up this "new and improved" version. All I can say, is this stuff now officially sucks. It doesnt harden enough to lift it off your face, properly. I found myself scraping and scrubbing to get the wax off. Like some of the other reviewers, I had to use emu oil all over my face and hands and I still can't get all the wax off. I think I still have some stuck in my eyebrows. Don't use this product!!

I used this on my daughter (age 12) for the space between her eyebrows. She said it really wasn't bad at all when I pulled it off. I've used the brazilian formula so I knew what to expect. As with that formula, it takes a lot longer to get it melted and easily spreadable than they say. My only mistake was that I tried to do the whole space at once, should have split it into 2 or 3 sections. She's fine with me doing it again since it saves time with plucking.

If you want mouse trap glue stuck all over your fingers, use this. The only way that I was able to get most of it off was to rub it with emu oil (any kind of oil would do I suppose) multiple times. I still have a bit stuck on me...sigh.

I have used the over-the-counter wax strips before, which always caused irritation and a red rash. OUCH! I tried this stuff in spite of some of the negitive reviews, and I am so glad I did! It is awesome for brows and under chin and sides of my face. You don't have to wait very long once you apply it to remove, and the directions say not to leave it on too long or it may be hard to remove. When I first tried it my phone rang just as I applied it, and I ripped it off to answer thinking it did not work because it didn't hurt, but it did, so well! Even on short little stubborn hair. So much better than tweezing, and less painful than salon wax. I gave it only 4 stars because it is kind of messy to mix when warm.

I followed the directions exactly and it just did not work. It's too sticky for the average person to use and it doesn't remove enough hair.

HORRIBLE product. VERY messy, VERY sticky, and when I applied it to the area to be waxed, half the hairs didn't come off. Leaves a messy, sticky residue on your fingers and face. I am VERY disappointed in this product. Never again, or at least not with this.

This is a fantastic product, the only one I will use (and I have a thankfully slight case of PCOS, which in case you don't know, makes women hiursute)---if it doesn't heat up right away in your microwave, you may have a lower wattage, I have to nuke mine a little bit more than the directions say. Just get it creamy so it isn't runny, but not too thick to spread. This product is a lifesaver for me, try it.

Oh my GOD! What a mess this was. It never seemed to completely dry hard on my face, and I was left with a sticky gooey mess all over my face! INCLUDING my brows... It was a rough night for me. I couldn't get it to peel off, so ended up scrubbing as hard as I could (ouch) MULTIPLE times. It was a nightmare, to say the least. I had to shave off my brows! I learned my lesson =D

This is the first facial wax that I've ever used. Prior to this I'd used facial bleaching creams. All DIY's. It was pretty messy seeing as there aren't any strips - so I assume you use your fingers, which I did. What a mess. I got the hang of it after a few tries, and am happy with the results. It removes the hair. Not all, but a good enough job for me. I also had to microwave it for a lot longer than the recommended time.
