works great, but just be carefull of the plactic attachments. they can be very pointy and can hurt if you try to rush

I've had this Groomer for about 6 months and I couldn't be more pleased. I read the reviews that claim the foil wears out. Well, all you have to do is get some "Clipper Oil" at the barber supply store in lthe mall. They will last twice as long. Plus Drugstore.com has supplied them for me. It can mess some hairs. But I'm OK with that. You just make another pass.

First off I'm a male. Second off you need to understand this is for hair below the navel primarily (i.e. groin area, pubic hair). If you like to shave down there very close then you'll love this. I used to use scissors, and regular face trimmers. OUCH!!!! But this thing, after using electric trimmers before and getting nicked especially on the 2 fellas that hang low I decided to try this one. It looks like a regular trimmer so I was nervous when I first started to shave (as you should be)...but it was so easy, not one cut or scrape, and I didn't feel like I had o be super stiff and careful. It was pretty much get in there and shave without worrying about being careful not to cut yourself since it seemed nearly impossible to cut myself. It did take a few passes to get it just right. But I'd rather go over the same spot then risk cutting myself like I did with other regular face trimmers. If you're very hair down there you'll need to brush away hair from the blades as you trim (they include a brush) because it gets stuck in there easy. But once you're trimmed down it's easy to maintain by trimming before it turns into a bush. :) This was the perfect tool and just what I was looking for. No more painful shaving down there.

Used it to trim downstairs. w/o the guard it still itches. Works better in the shower. Gets the job done, but knowing now what I do, I would have just stuck with the hair clippers that I was using before.

I bought this product specifically for the boys down low and I'm here to say, for an electric shave/trim you can't miss with this one. Yes, a Mach 3 shaves closer but I have less worries of cutting myself with the Bodygroom. It's easy to operate once you get the feel of it. Easy to clean the blade...do not listen to the guys that have reported the opposite...they must have other problems...if you get my drift! ;o) I purchase the trimmer and a spare blade from Drugstore.com...100% satisfied!

Same story as above, the foil dies after about a dozen uses. I tried to order the replacement from the philips site, but the package has been enroute for over a month! Then they inexplicably gave me a refund, minus the shipping costs after I complained. very strange...is philips going under?

I just got my body groom. It took me a little bit to get used to how it cuts but now i am doing good with it. it is amazingly gentle on the bits and pieces down there which is a GOOD THING. I was alarmed at some of the bad reviews on here but after using it for a while i have concluded that the bad reviewers don't know how to use it or are hairy as king kong. LOL. i think it is a great product.

Had the Philips Norelco for 1 month and the foil already came apart. The worst shaver I ever owned. I would not recommend this machine. It is a waste of money, stay away from it. I choose for 1 star because they wont let me do {0} star

The foil screen tears easily and was not even seated right in the shaver--potential for cutting skin; not a very close shave either.
