I was in Hosp. for the third time for impaction and finally changed Docs.the new Doc told me about this product and I have been on it for about a week, so far so good.The only thing I find very hard to take is the gas I get during the day and at night.has anyone out there found the same thing?Hopefully I have found help with this Digestive Advantage..Thanks

This stuff is amazing! I have always had a problem with bloating, gas, and abdominal pain. After using this for only a few days, I noticed a huge difference! Unless I eat something really gas-producing, I get no bloating and I hardly ever get pain anymore. You have to use it on a daily basis, tho, cuz I missed a day and had the gas pains.

Gets me where I need to be.

I am on the go all the time. Too young to retire and slow down. Too old and many health issues that require medication, I need help. I need something that won't hold me up with trips to the bathroom. I like this product and will be trying the companies other products.

Two years ago I began my journey with Advantage Chronic Constitation formula and it has really made a positive difference in my well being. It contains a special fiber and good bacteria that helps regulate your system. I find this keeps the stool soft so I don't have to take laxatives which cause me pain. I have lived with IBS all my life. The capsules must be taken daily with lots of water, but the extra water is good anyway. I have skipped a day once in awhile, but was still OK. My doctor knows I take this product and highly approves because of the good enzymes.

I used this product for 3 1/2 months before realizing that one of its ingredients, Konjac Glucomannan, was making me ill. Wasted many, many hours of my life and spent thousands of dollars on medical bills trying to determine what was causing the illness. Stopped taking the product and the symptoms disappeared. From WebMD: "Glucomannan. Made from the root of Amorphophallus Konjac, glucomannan is said to contribute to weight loss by delaying the absorption of glucose from the intestines. Small limited studies have shown glucomannan to be effective in decreasing body weight. This effect is believed to be due to a "feeling of fullness" which may be due to the swelling of the glucomannan in the gut once it has been exposed to liquids. However, esophageal obstruction has been reported in several people taking glucomannan. Glucomannan and glucomannan-containing products have been banned in several countries due to the high incidence of gastrointestinal obstruction. Glucomannan should not be used by people with a previous history of gastrointestinal obstruction, and caution should be used in diabetics."

Have had a constipation problem from IBS since a hysterectomy. I took DI. Adv. for a few years and it helped, but recently I added a peppermint oil tablet first thing in the AM then 2 Di. Adv. a few minutes later along with the recommended full glass of water and I'm about 95% regular now. If your "guts" are in knots you need the peppermint oil tablet first.

I suffer from chronic constipation because of medication. I've tried everything from OTC to prescriptions to taking fiber like crazy. This just didn't work for me. I took two pills daily with lots of water and waited. Nothing. I tried doubling my dose and took four pills, still nothing. I kept taking them until I ran out and gave up. It's worth a shot if you're willing to try just about anything, maybe it will work for you? The pills are large and can be tough to swallow. I had to physc myself out before I took them so I wouldn't choke. Would I recommend this? Sure, you have nothing to lose. Go for it. The company will give you your money back if it doesn't work. I just sent in my receipt.
