DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT OR ANY OTHER CHI PRODUCTS FROM DRUGSTORE.COM. I loved this hairdryer, but it stopped working within the first 10 times I used it. It simply will not turn on. I contacted drugstore.com about the problem, and was told that nothing would be done since the product was slightly more than 30 days old. This product cost me well over $100. The fact that I was met with refusal to assist infuriated me. When I called Farouk systems to use my warranty card that came with the hairdryer, CHI refused to replace it as well, since I bought it from drugstore.com. If I had gotten more use out of the product, I would not be as perturbed. Spending well over $100 for less than 10 uses (and I have short hair) is ridiculous. To protect your finances, do NOT buy this product from drugstore.com. You will have no way to get a refund or credit when it stops working, and the price is just too high to take that risk. I will not order from drugstore.com again and would advise you to do the same.

Hubby bought me this because it was supposed to be quiet (I have hearing loss). It's just as noisy as my old dryer. I was excited to get something that was made in the USA this was made in CHINA! Very disapppointed about that. Also the heat setting is VERY hot to where the power-cord is super thick and heavy. Overall impression, looks good, feels cheap.

I loved the way this dryer styled. I had bought my 1st a couple years back, when it had an electrical issue I thought it was a fluke. I ended up buying another just about a year ago (since I loved how it styled). When I received it I noticed that they had changed the electrical cord, so I realized it must have been a known issue. The electrical "exploded" on me today, just below the handle--it blew out the cord (I was lucky I was sectioning hair and it wasn't near my face!!)--after 1 year...

Great hair dryer, light and easy to use, long cord keeps it out of the way, much quieter than the cheapy hair dryers and has low EMFs to boot! A little too big to travel with easily, otherwise its the best.

I use this blow dryer almost every morning and I love it. But after only a couple of months the cord cover became completely disconnected from the plug casing exposing the wires. It is now sitting in my bedroom waiting for me to do something about it. After paying that much money for a blowdryer, I wouldn't expect it to "fall apart" so quickly!

I love this blow-dryer. It is pricey but I got it on sale and it is 400% worth the price. This absolutely dries your hair in half the time (or less)!! And your hair feels different - better than the other dryers that simply blow the water off your hair. This dryer actually dries your hair with infrared heat. It does not fry it. I'm Black and I use the low setting, holding it about 6-8 inches away from my hair with a vented rubber detangling brush. Then go all over with the cold (heat shot) setting. It comes with 2 sturdy attachments. Leaves any hair with bounce, strength and shine. Works great with leave in conditioners to seal product into hair shaft. Ive had mine for 3 years with no issues. THE BEST blow-dryer Ive ever used!

Love this hair dryer. It is light weight with a nice long cord. My hair dries in less then half the time, which is great for my hair. Not to mention I am usually running late. I don't know how it works because the power isn't as strong as I thought it would be, but my hair still dries amazingly fast. Worth the price!
