After using a brand of toothpaste I thought I was happy with, I tried Colgate Total and realized how much my original brand was lacking. Colgate Total has a great fresh taste and left my mouth feeling much fresher for much longer.

This toothpaste is great if you like the white, non-minty kind. It's not my favorite type, but I still enjoyed using it. It's similar to the Crest Multi-Care, which is what I normally use. There was nothing about it that I didn't like. I would definitely recommend it.

This is a very good product. I personally feel that it gives me fresh breath for longer, compared to other products, and that's the good thing about it. A week's time is too short for finding out whether it prevents cavities, but I'll figure this out eventually. Overall, it looked like a good product to me. My children liked the taste.

I trust the Colgate name. Colgate Total had a refreshing taste and has been recommended to me by my dentist. Knowing this toothpaste has fluoride and fights tartar build-up would be reason enough to use it. And the added benefit of preventing gum disease only augments my positive feelings about it. My entire family now uses Colgate Total and I would definitely recommend it to others. The taste was pleasant with no unpleasant aftertaste -- no chalky taste as I've experienced other toothpaste to have. Dental care is very important to me and I especially like the idea that one product can do so many positive things for my family and me.

The toothpaste had a good flavor to it and it kept my mouth feeling clean for a while after using it. It was a smooth feeling, not gritty like some toothpaste. I would prefer a gel, though, instead of the white paste.

Our family currently uses two types of toothpaste, one for gum care and one for whitening. The taste of this is better than Crest gel. I'm not sure how Colgate Total works on whitening teeth as yet. I would have to use the product longer in order to see the results. However, my teeth do seem to feel cleaner for a longer period after brushing with Colgate Total. After using the product for a longer period, say one month to give it a fair try, I probably would recommend this to family (not sure about friends -- we don't talk about teeth much).

This is truly a toothpaste like no other! My husband, three daughters, and myself all used it, and were totally surprised at the difference it made. Even after the first use, our teeth felt healthier! The taste is nice, but gentle enough for young children. I had not spent the extra money to try it, but now that we have, my whole family voted to continue to use it. It almost feels like vitamins for your teeth! I highly recommend it to everyone.

Total tastes very good (I like Regular better than Fresh Stripe), and it leaves your mouth feeling fresh. I'd like it better if it foamed more -- you have to use a lot to really feel it in your mouth. But here's why you should use Total. Most toothpaste protects against cavities. Total is the only toothpaste to get the American Dental Association Seal of Acceptance for protection against plaque and gingivitis. If you want to keep your teeth until you're old and gray, these are the guys you need to fight, and currently Total is the only toothpaste recognized by the ADA to fight them.
Supervise children as necessary until capable of using without supervision
Adults and children 6 years of age and older: Brush teeth thoroughly, preferably after each meal or at least twice a day, or as directed by a dentist or a physician
Children under 12 years: Instruct in good brushing and rinsing habits (to minimize swallowing)
Children under 6 years: Do not use unless directed by a dentist or a physician
