I began taking Appearex when my doctor said there was a spur under my large toenail. The spur would push up the nail and a fungus would start underneath and it had happened several times. My doctor advised me to take Appearex, which strengthened the nail so it no longerr lifted and also greatly improved my fingernails to the point they were long and healthy.

For several years the nails on my thumbs would crack on the side of my nail at the same place. It would take forever it seemed for the nail to grow out past the breakage, but then once it did it would only crack again. Sometimes it was painful because it would crack half way down next to the pink area of the nail. I first found this product at a local dept. store. I was willing to try anything. Within the first month I noticed my nails growing slightly faster and after several months of use my thumb nails stopped breaking. I have now been using this product for over a year. I hope I never have to go without it. My nails are healthier than they have ever been and I actually like going without nail polish because my natural nail looks so healthy. I no longer buy this product at my local store as it's cheaper with drugstore.com. It's also very convenient being able to buy three months worth in one package. If you have weak nails or a problem like what I had, I would definitely recommend trying this.

I began taking the product initially for my nails. They did begin to grow more quickly, but I then bit them off again, so that was counterproductive. I have the type of nails where taking the Appearex and using a strengthening polish like Nailtiques would do the trick. Anyhow, I read the reviews about this product inducing hair growth. I began taking two pills per day with no noticeable side effects, except that my hair has grown about three inches or more in the last three months. It is also healthier, thicker and stronger than it has been in a long time. In fact, I attribute the success I had with a recent haircolor reversal to the Appearex. My hair would have looked fried, frazzled and more, but instead, it is still smooth, shiny and soft. Beware, ladies, that this WILL increase hair growth in unwanted places, least of all the chin/neck/cheek region. You will need to do more depilation or removal, but if the hair on your head needs rejuvenation, I strongly suggest picking up this product and trying it for several months.

This product works but you must use it daily. For the 1st month or 2, you may not notice much difference but by the third month, my nail were noticeably longer and very strong. I would recommend the product if you can be patient and will take it everyday. My nails look great now!
