This brush has a rotating--back and forth, not around and around--brush at the tip and a stationary lower half. That is much better than the newer models that have a lower half that jiggles up and down--on THAT one, the plastic base of the lower bristles hammers against my teeth and hurts them. The Classic Clean, however is very gentle but the rotating action 'polishes' my teeth and massages my gums. VS Most Liked Negative Review First Time Use!~ It isnt a bad price. I found some toothpaste sprinkle on one of my nice silk shirts at work and was a)embarrassed and b) couldn't remember being that messy! I realized that it was because there is a hole that sprouts water and toothpaste. The top is the only part that moves so it's not that efficient either. As such, the bottom of the brush has no value unless you brush your teeth normally as you used to before having the battery powered spin. It is a good product to take with you when you are away from home but does not compare to an electric toothbrush. I would recommend this toothbrush for travel use only, not daily cleaning.
